My family ran in the Colorvibe 5K run today in Aurora and we inadvertently parked in this company s parking lot. It was not clearly posted as private property and I followed a long line of cars into their lot. Approximately 40-50 cars parked in the lot. After the run I found my car boot-clamped, along with several other minivans. According to the parking service gentleman from Illinois Parking Systems, 1717 N. Naper Blvd., who arrived to remove my $170.00 clamp, Garbe Iron Works was upset that the Colorvibe didn t take them up on their very generous offer to rent their lot that is unused on Sundays. So instead of doing the decent thing, according to the IPS representative Garbe specifically instructed IPS to clamp runners cars. I wouldn't do business with this moneygrubbing, mean spirited little pit of a business. Oh, and it was Father s Day. No stars.
