Delivery man harassed girl friend

I bought a new mattress and bed frame for my girl friend on May 2nd and they were delivered May 9th to her house while she was home alone. One of the employees who delivered the frame behaved in an entirely unprofessional and unethical manner. When he was putting the bed together he blocked off the exit to her bedroom with boxsprings so she was unable to leave the room, which made her feel uncomfortable. Then he proceeded to tell my girl friend how much he hated his job and that he was about to quit and start . He started hitting on her and told her that he was going to make really good money. Next he asked to take her out for drinks and to come play kickball with him this weekend. At that point she explained she was not interested and had a boyfriend but that maybe I would be interested in playing kickball with him. Her curt replay stopped his advances, but she was very unhappy about the whole situation he placed her in. I am appalled and infuriated that an employee would sexually harass my girl friend during a delivery! When I spend $1500 I expect that my girl friend will not hit on and made uncomfortable in her own home!

I loved going to furniture row. That is where I bought all my furniture for my new house. They had wonderful service. Especially Sofa Mart... The sales associate that helped me was Tony, who is also the store manager. He was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. I went to RC Wiley and a couple of other places and their employees seemed very pushy and didn't seem to care about what you were saying. They only wanted to make the sale. Tony listened to what we had to say and what our concerns were. He walked us around the whole store and narrowed down sofa's that would work with where we wanted them. I didn't feel rushed or pushed into a sale. I highly recommend asking for Tony if you are looking in the Boise area for living room furniture.

I just tried to purchase a simple, $38 kitchen chair to replace one that had been damaged by my son. The customer service rep, who identified himself as the manager, initially refused to sell me a chair unless I gave him my address, phone, email, etc. - and I was paying cash. When I started to leave he suddenly could manage to input the sale in his computer. However, when I drove around to the warehouse to pick up the chair, they didn't have any in stock. It took me 45 minutes to learn that I was not allowed to purchase a chair from these folks - not even the floor model. I'll never be back

IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW MATTRESS YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! WE SHOP ALL OVER TOWN FOR A NEW MATTRESS SET AND FOUND THIS PLACE ACROSS FROM IKEA IN DRAPER. THEY REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF AND THE PRICE IS A LOT LESS THEN YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE. WE JUST LOVE OUR MATTRESS AND WOULD BUY AGAIN.

We purchased a sleeper sofa last month from sofa mart. we were told it would be a couple of weeks and now its going to MAYBE come in around the end of October. I don't think my family will mind sleeping on the floor. And then we wanted to purchase a sofa set for our new home but who wants to pay $2300 and have to wait a month in a half to get the items. The location in medford, Or is a couple blocks big and for them to not have anything in stock is crazy. Well the best advertisement is word of mouth. So I will tell everyone what i think of that place.
Furniture Row Oak Express - Grand Forks, ND

I purchased an oak entertainment center (made in Mexico) from Oak Express in Grand Forks, ND. The quality was very good and so was the price. The people there were easy to deal with. I had a problem with a shelf that came apart and warped. They promptly found me a replacement the very same day. I've since moved and purchased an entertainment center from another seller in Grand Forks that handles products made in the USA. I've had nothing but problems with that seller and the poor quality of the furniture. So, I will highly recommend Furniture Row Oak Express for very nice furniture at a good price that will meet or exceed anything made in the USA.

Sofa tables - they're good, but also not really high traffic items.Sofa - 2 of the 5 pillows are falling apart, very poor quality. Ottoman - (leather on top) button has already popped offLeather Chest/trunk - button has already popped off.Brought up my button issue with the store..."sucks to be you" was their response in so many words.We've only had the furniture for about 3 months and it's not holding up very well. They store associates are very helpful when you're purchasing, but once purchased, they will not lift a finger to help if you have a problem.

Furniture Row has been great we love everything we have purchased. Our mattress in particular at Denver Mattress. We were custom fit for our mattress and pillows. It has been two years and have had no problems. Our we recomend them to friends and family. My father a one small problem and they took care of it right away.

I purchased a bedroom set on Februaury 7, 2009 at the Tyler, TX location. We were told that delivery would be in 2-3 weeks. It is now May 24th, and we have yet te receive our purchase! We have sent several letters of complaint and keep getting the run around. And on several occasions, they flat out LIED to us about when it would be in, what we would be charges, who told us what. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again, and I would advise you all to stay away! This is the second time we have had problems with this company, but this current situation is far worse than our first bad experiance.
