Your order will never arrive

I wish I would have found this page before I ordered from FTD. I placed an order for Mother's Day and that order was suppose to be delivered on Saturday. At 4:30 Saturday afternoon I receive an e-mail stating that my order would not be delivered until Monday the 14 and guess what my flowers were never delivered. All they could say was I am sorry. Sorry just does not do it!! I am trying to reach out to all of my family and friends who use FTD not to!! This is the worst service and they only contact the florist by e-mail they should have a direct line to the florist that took the order. So all you people that live far away and want to send flowers to someone on a special occasion Please Please do not use FTD you will be disappointed!!!
Cant get flowers delivered on date to be delivered - 2 years in a ROW!

FTD has for 2 years failed to deliver flowers on my mothers birthday with only the explaination that they will give 20% off next purchase and will send something the next day with an apology to my mother for failing to deliver on-time. What kind of customer service is this???? They contract these local florists to do a service on a specific date and they allow the customer to look like they're idiots because they "forgot" someones birthday or ask the recipient how do you flowers look? Totally fed up with the fact that FTD has customer service agents an entire Country away who barely speak English to understand the frustration and disappointment that the failure to delivery a simple set of flowers on someones birthday means. FTD did not want to do anything other than state they are sorry for the missed birthday but we can deliver another arrangement TODAY - wait this isn't her birthday so why would delivering something a day late is going to make me or her feel better????
You'll be sorry

I too purchased from FTD. They did not arrive on Mothers day they were sent the day before! They were horrible looking they were hanging over the small tiny vase as if the life had been sapped from them. After complaining, they sent another "bouquet" (if you want to call it that) it arrived looking just as bad. Don't buy from them.
Mother's day rip off
by unsatisfied , 05/09/2010
Ordered 175.00 worth of flowers. Delivered between 4 and 5 mother's day NIGHT! Had to tell everyone while gifts were being exchanged that they were on their way! When they did arrive, they looked like they had been kept in an oven. 5 flowers were broken off and left in the arrangement. When i complained they were quick to refund (already ruined the day for mom, wife, grandmother).....Then the sorry guy delivery person arrives to take them back after my wife had to rearrange and dismantle. FTD and their affiliate forget me knot are the tackiest worst run company i have dealt with and oh yhea i will never use again and will tell this story to anyone who will listen

My son in Austin, TX and my daughter who lives with me went together to order flowers for Mother's Day. It was a lovely surprise, however, the roses were old. The lavender roses had brown spots on the petals. The little white roses were brown and wilted looking. I called to complain and FTD representative called me back stating she spoke to the florist and all his lavender roses look that way, but they are fresh. I was asked if I would like to take them to the florist and they would replace the flowers. I asked the name of the florist and where they were located. I was told Annas and she said she would get the address from the florist. I was put on hold and 14 minutes later, told another florist would deliver an arrangment and the first florist will come out to put up their sorry arrangement. I guess they didn't want an unhappy customer comes into their florist. I really wouldn't have given them any stars.

I ordered flowers for a friend in Needville which were never delivered, although I was charged. When I called FTD, I was told the same thing, they had no one to service the area. My money was eventually refunded, but I felt deceived, and won't use FTD again!
Can't Deliver to Lake Dallas
by mobaygirl , 04/27/2010
I sent flowers to a friend of mine in Lake Dallas and found out that they had never been received. When I contacted FTD via email, I received a reply that they had no florist to service the area.If they can't deliver to Lake Dallas then they need to remove that area from their listing and the obvious don't accept orders for there!Too bad I have to give them 1 star.

I have used them three times simply because I have a discount. Every time, they send a completely different arrangement that what I paid for. To send a similar arrangement on Mothers Day is one thing--it is a busy day. But, to screw it up on her birthday? I requested a dozen orange roses and they sent here this hideous arrangement of lilies. Hardly the same thing.

Why no confirmation on line that the order has been placed or refused?
