Awful, upon awful! Zero professionalism and very low concerns about their tenants. I walked in to pay rent and the owner was openly expressing that tenants "should have not right to be compensated" after we didn't have heat/hot water for almost a week.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Yes, worse than Comcast...

When we moved in the place was a wreck. There was an entire closet full of crap that the previous tenants had left, the carpet was soggy from the shampoo that they hadn't finished in time, there were cigarrette burns on almost every surface including the carpet, there were scuff marks on every single wall. It was a disaster. At this point we knew we couldn't trust them so we took photos of every single thing and filled out every line on the move-in form (I've never had to do that before!) because there was literally something wrong with everything in the unit.

Any issue we had they were stupidly slow to respond to (doors not working well, things breaking). BUT as soon as they started showing our unit after we told them we weren't going to renew, they started fixing things so that they could show the next set of people a nice looking place. They had the nerve to ask us to clean and make the place look nice and let us know that we didn't have to be there during a showing. I never lifted a finger for them since they never did for us. I made sure all damages were very visible in the apartment for anyone else looking to rent it.

On move out we made that place look great! Of course things like the burns in the carpets we couldn't take care of. Again we took photos to show the condition we left it in. They tried to keep almost all our deposit and put bogus charges on our deposit return form. We almost took them to court. We showed them all the photos and went back and forth exercising all our legal rights until they finally returned all the money that we were rightfully owned.

I had no idea that a place could be so terrible. I cannot understand how any of you who work there can possibly be proud of yourselves, or sleep at night. The only thing I can think is that you must know how awful you are to other human beings, and just don't care.

Funny addition to this. I left a review similar to this on their facebook page with a 1-star rating. They've now gotten rid of all their rankings on facebook and reviews! Hilarious!

I currently live in one of Fowler's properties. Long story short, I've had to deal with several maintenance issues, which is not the reason I'm leaving this terrible review. One of the issues was our deadbolt stopped working. We called the emergency maintenance line and got no answer. For two days, we had a deadbolt that was not working and had to climb in to our apartment through our second story patio.

I called the owner, Ryan, several times asking for a call back. I never got a call back until I finally happened to catch him in the office. I have never felt so disrespected in my life and would urge anyone looking to rent with this company to look elsewhere. These people do not care about you or your things. Thanks Ryan!!!!

BTW, I created a Yellow Pages account just so that I could post this review because my experience with these people has been completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
