Fourmile Veterinary Clinic has been providing high quality animal care to Cañon City's dogs, cats, horses, cows, and pigs for over 40 years. Founded in 1975 by Dr. Donald Ley, the clinic has since then been joined by our founder's son, Dr. Jeremy Ley! We are also a Cat Friendly Practices® certified hospital, and our services include wellness care, sick appointments, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy and dermatology testing, diagnostic care including an in-house laboratory, x-ray, and ultrasound, general and advanced surgical care including spay and neuter, pet dental, cattle PAP testing, and more! We are open five days a week and we look forward to meeting you and your pet.

Feels like home

The doctors and staff at Fourmile Veterinary Clinic have always done a wonderful job with our dogs. It is a comforting feeling to know that they care about our pets as if they were their own. We highly recommend their services.

Don't bother if you have an emergency!

I recently inherited two dogs. One has a heart condition and was having some issues that needed attention. Her veterinarian was out of town. I called Fourmile Veterinary Clinic during emergency hours. I explained the situation to the on call vet. He told me to call an emergency vet in Pueblo because I wasn't a client and he had three clients that needed his help. He didn't seem too concerned with listening to my problem. I and my family have taken animals to this clinic for years. Honestly, I don't see what it matters if I were a client or not. An emergency is an emergency. If he was busy with other emergencies and didn't think he could get to my dog in a timely manner that would be one thing. We have always been happy with Dr. Ley. Today I was extremely disappointed by the clinic's on call vet and his lack of compassion.

Great Vet Clinic.

This is a professional and caring office with well trained personel and caring Vets. I have taken my animals there for the past five years and have always they have always been given great care.
