Foster Road Elementary School, an educational campus is a part of the Norwalk La Mirada School District, which serves more than 20,000 students and owns over 25 school campuses. It enrolls children in pre-kindergarten through grade five and offers classes in various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and English. Located in La Mirada, Calif., the school employs a staff of nearly 30 teachers and paraprofessionals and provides the English Language Learner program. Its special education program offers classes to physically disabled students who are taught by a staff of speech and language specialists. Foster Road Elementary School also has a media center that has books under various titles, including science, fiction and literature.
