Folly Quarter Middle School offers education to more than 550 students annually in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes computer technology, creative writing, language arts, mathematics, science, special education, social studies, English and physical education. Its facility includes a cafeteria, computer laboratory, and library and media center that provides online databases and resources to students. The school organizes various extracurricular activities that include jazz band, writer s workshop, memory book, as well as technology, robotics, art and drama clubs. It has a staff of administrators, counselors, classroom teachers, instructional assistants and health service workers. Established in 2003, Folly Quarter Middle School is a part of the Howard County Public School System and is located in Ellicott City, Md.
