Owner Glenn Rudolph was the first NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer in the Colorado Springs area. What is NABCEP certification and why does it matter? NABCEP stands for North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, an organization devoted to assuring the qualifications of solar designers/installers. In order to become NABCEP certified,an applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as foreman installing solar, 60 hours of schooling, and must pass a rigorous 4 hour exam.
