Horrible Place, run by Bullys!!! Do yourself a favor - DO NOT pick 1st Choice Physical Therapy for the services provided, unless you are prepared to do most of it yourself. I was unfortunate enough to pick this place for rehab after knee surgery, and was treated with very little respect the entire time I was there. It became very obvious that the only reason I was there was the money I would bring – it had nothing to do with therapy, or helping patients – since they overbook everyone and I did most of it myself, meaning most of the time I was left on my own to do my own therapy - with very little guidance. They had scheduled and treating up to 2-3 other patients at the same time. They are constantly overbooked, which makes it hard to individualize any of their patients or their treatments. Once in a while, weather was a problem, such as the snow in winter – and when I missed a day because it was too dangerous to drive, I was met with disdain and disappointment on the phone when I called to cancel. I was pushed into making another appointment (for more money, of course…). On my last day there, I was left on my own – COMPLETELY – because there was another patient there that required much more time and attention than me or anyone else, because of obvious medical necessity. This is totally understandable, however it would have been a better idea to schedule this patient their own time without any other patients, or schedule a separate therapist for that patient’s own treatment. The really insulting and ridiculous thing - about 30 minutes before I left - angrily I might add… because I was tired of waiting 10-15 minutes between each ridiculous exercise, or for ANY help with something, I was handed a bill from them for $1,300!!!, for their services. Afterwards, I never received a call of apology, well-being check – nothing, because my usefulness, otherwise known as THE MONEY had been worn out. I think should have been given a discount for doing most of my own therapy. Patients, their recovery, and their well-being are the last thing on their minds – the only thing that drives this company, is money and greed. Horrible, horrible place.
