First of all BEWARE of this company! We had an issue with our A/C and during a Severe Heat Warning the best this company could do was offer a repair person in 5, yes 5 days. When there repair person arrived they stated our unit was still under manufactury warranty. We then asked the tech for the serial number and called ourselved only to discover this was not the case. When we explained this to the repair tech we were bascially told "That is because you used your name, I gave you the prior owners name". So basically they wanted us to commit FRAUD, we would not do this. Stay away from this company they are horrible and have unprofessional vendors at best and at worse they are supportive of fraudelent business practices by their vendors.

Here is my honest opinion of Fidelity National Home Warranty on 2 claims for my new home in the past 3 months. The home warranty I was provided isn't worth the paper it was printed on. I am so fed up with Fidelity Home Warranty that I wish I could get money back and pay for the repairs myself instead of being frustrated with the lack of help from this utterly useless warranty. But I didn't pay for the warranty, so the funds would go back to the former owner. I will never recommend this company to a friend, I will not rate them highly for their customer service and I will only change my mind when the company acknowledges that I am not the person responsible for the poor quality of the home I bought. I was only there 2 months, roots don't grow that quickly. I moved into a termite free home, so how did dead termites eat wires to damage to a working oven?

Worst customer service. They obviously contract lowest bidder and the work completed, if completed , is not up to code and you have to hire someone to fix it to be to city code. Costs more to fix what they pay for to get it done the correct way.

Our worse interaction was when our water heater broke. We called them at 9AM and they still weren't able to find us help come 6PM at night. In the meantime, we found someone who could be out by noon but FNHW wasn't interested in using them. By the time they got someone out there was excessive damage to our house that could have been avoided. When we told them about it, three different people admitted it took too long and that they made several mistakes in the process. Despite that, they refused to fix what they had done and said they weren't responsible. We ended up selling our home and when we did we requested to cancel the home warranty. They said it would cost us $50 to cancel plus we would need to pay back anything "recent" they had paid out in claims. When I asked what "recent" meant, they conveniently couldn't define it. We will never use this company again and will tell everyone we know to avoid them. We have even looked into sending information to the BBB in California.

DO NOT BUY. Wish I could give a them a ZERO. They take your money and do not pay out. My experience - we bought a comprehensive home warranty. The home was inspected with not callouts to Furnace and i expected never to file a claim. After 6 months our 7yr old Furnace when out and they refuse to pay for replacement or repair due to improper installation - dispute contract clearly stating Home Warranty covers improper installation. We have submitted a second opinion and they continue to deny payment. Save your money and unbelievable frustration.

I have only positive experience with my home warranty. Every time I needed repair they would send someone within day. Not all problems were fixed right away, but it's another problem with service people. It gave me such a piece of mind with my rental, that I could travel anywhere and acsess it online. Very proffesional!

Shower faucet problem for over 4 months now. First the plumber can not get the handle off. Took a month to get authorization. Then drilled off the handle to determine parts needed. Plumber gave up on finding the right parts, even after I gave him the parts number and told him they are readily available on local plumbing warehouse, ebay, and amazon. FNHW sent a second plumber and then go out to look for parts, FNHW claims they parts are too expensive $360, and insist to replace the whole faucet. But I am have to pay for the expensive of patching, and painting the wall. I refused and FNHW will cash me out for $235. Still waiting for my check.

I have had a Fidelity National contract for almost 4 years now, and find they are very responsive. Recently I had a problem with 2 out of 3 toilets. They authorized one company, but they could not come for a week. So, I called Fidelity back and asked for another plumber, who arrived the next day and solved my problems.

as far as home warranty companies this one is probably the best one that you will get. They downside of this , and sor that matter all of these companies is that they hire discounted contractors . If the contractor has a higher paying job , they will take their sweet time in getting your job done. Also, they arent the best in teh industry usually so tI have found that they have to come back more than once sometimes to get the job done. .. it will get dom=ne eventually.

I love this warranty service, everyone is very nice and always is concerned to take care of our needs. We bought our 9 year old home two years ago and we have used them extensively in that time and they have replaced 2 of our appliances with our choice of something comparable or a check in the amount of its value. Both times, the checks have exceeded our expectations. I have only had 1 experience with a customer service rep in the replacement dept. She was very rude and condescending and I did report her. When I called recently for my microwave she was not the one who took the call so I have no idea if she is still with the company. I do apologize but I cannot remember her name (it was over 6 months ago), However, I would know it if I heard it. I gave this a 5 Star because my overall experience and satisfaction has been exemplary.

I am Not as pleased as I think I should be. A/C problems over a month ago. They sent someone out . Issue was not resolved. I called back to Fidelity and was on hold for over one hour. They did send out a different company. Issue is still not resolved. Out of frustration, and not wanting to spend so much time on hold, I have chosen to live with the issue for the time being. At this time I would have a problem recommending this company. I was hoping that they would have cared enough after the first time to call me and make sure the issue was resolved.

Since 2013 we have had to use our Fidelity National Home Warranty policy for a refrigerator, swimming pool heater, and built-in microwave. Each situation was handled to our satisfaction. The amount needed to fix our microwave exceeded the purchase price of a new Profile GE microwave. Fidelity offered to buy a new Profile GE microwave or give us a specific amount of cash. The new Profile microwave did not look like ours (their previous 2010 Profile model). Therefore, it would not have the same look as the double oven. We purchased a different (GE Cafe) GE microwave that looked more like our Profile GE double oven. As soon as we emailed a copy of the receipt for the purchase of our new microwave, we received a check from Fidelity.

Bad! Not only after the third time they sent a company out has everything yet to be repaired. My floor has been torn up and unrepaired as well as the damage and mold in the walls where the dishwasher is and under k the kitchen sink. Nothing has been removed, cleaned up or replaced. I called them out to fix leaking dishwasher and after each failed attempt to fix the dishwasher the floor became damaged, I started growing mold and the walls are now damaged. They claim it is not their responsibility and they will be a middle man for the company they hired and I to hash it out. Over the course of the 2 month situation, I have yet to receive any of the numerous fallow up calls as promised or a resolution. This company does not care about it's customers and the most frustrating part is no one has the decency to see this through. They keep pushing situation on to the next employee. Even, the Assistant VP passed the buck on me. Not one single fallow up. Last week they promised to have the company hired to call me back to arrange something and still, not a call. I have never been so offended. Or treated so poorly.

Very unhappy with service. Plumber they assigned took a long time for initial contact. Then arrived in a car with no intent to fix anything but only to look. Then I waited days until I called them and was told it would more than a week before they would come back. I had a plumber there same day at my expense to fix the minor problem.

Very unhappy with the 2 companies they assigned. One didn't contact for more than 60 hours and the other was late and misdiagnosed. I had to suffer in Texas heat in August for 7 days and they did not care. I will not renew as cost it cost me too much out of pocket.
