THEY HOLD YOUR STUFF HOSTAGE UNTIL YOU PAY THEM FIRST!!! by HanhRPh97 - 02/11/2009
I was recommended to Father and Sons during my last move by a moving company that I used previously. The movers were not careful with packing my outdoor furniture into the truck. While packing a planter into the truck, the move dropped the planter on the truck and left dirt all over my boxes and furnitures. Their truck stalled in my driveway. It wasted 15 mins. It was very unprofessional and "ghetto"...But that's not it...

Towards the end of the move, the "boss" - I think his name is Joe, told his mover to make me pay first before they can bring the rest of my furnitures into my condo. The stuff that were in the trucks were the bulk of my expensive furnitures and TV. They literally closed the door on the truck and stood there until I pay them. Joe was upset that I thought that his truck stalled in my driveway and that I complaint about their services.

You only hear this kind of stories from out of state move, not local moves. Don't let this happen to you.

While my belongings were taken from one residence, put into storage at their warehouse, and then later delivered to my new residence, the following items disappeared (keep in mind, that I'm not listing little things which had more sentimental value than anything):

* ALL of my dishes
* ALL of my glasses, cups, etc
* ALL of my silverware
* A brand new flat-screen computer monitor
* Brand new Canon Elph digital camera
* Jewelry
* Flat screen TV

I wouldn't recommend these thieves to my absolute worst enemy.
