If I could give this place zero stars, I would. One, the atmosphere is repulsive. Their shop is dirty and smells disgusting, like someone forgot to shower. The service was so bad, I literally was in tears. She made me pay upfront, which I didn't want to do, but before they started I decided I didn't want my hair done anymore because they were SO rude and unorganized. But she told me "they don't give cash refunds" even though I had just given her 120$ cash not ten minutes ago. It turned into a shouting match and she gave me $100 back, because she bought hair that WAS NOT FOR ME with my $20... I demanded my money back and she told me I wouldn't be getting my money back if I kept "acting that way". Clearly, she had lost her mind and I got a full refund, but that was after 30 minutes and everything but a fist fight. Don't waste your time and money. Go to Amina's, it's a minute away right on tenessee ave. better service and better quality.
