Mom of the Bride -
My daughter was getting married in Detroit, I have family in Portland. I needed a Bold of special Heavy Antique Silk. I called and ask if they could send her samples. They sent samples to my Daughter in Detroit, she got the samples and it was exactly what she was looking for.we had 3 days I paid from California. My Mom who lived in Portland due to the short notice picked up and delivered the silk to a very happy bride to be at the Shower the next day.. They also found the match for a quilt that I was working on and shipped that as well. They are so amazing to work with both in person or on the phone or the computer. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Wonderful store...wish you were in AZ... by
I've ordered online, and purchased in their Portland store. Was awed by the neatness and the quantity of all types offabrics...wish that they had rooms to rent out, thus, worthflying up there from AZ, where I "live" now...huge mistake, moving from Salem Oregon to Mesa AZ. Now, a major undertaking to get up there....not in the mood to be gropedin any airport! Bravo,!

Favorite Place by
I've quilted since 1976 and this store just has it all. Visiting Fabric Depot is a great stress reliever for me. I can spend hours there. It makes me happy! I love this store! Toni
Shop here, and you think you have gone to Heaven! by
A very nice store, though so far on the east side for us wast suburbanites. Everyday prices are fine, but very regularly, there are sales with 30-40% off. On 40% days, the store###and parking lot are mobbed, but staff are still very pleasant and really try to help customers!
Amazing selections! by
Hands down, the best fabric store in the city. I never have any problems finding what I'm looking for when starting a new quilt project or clothing project. 40% off days are the best. Just make sure you get there when they first open up on sale days. Not as crowded!!
So Much Fabric, So Little Time by
This is the place to be to wander, get inspiration or snoop for new stuff.
The BEST selection! by
-The Quilted Dog -
They have so much fabric! It sometimes becomes overwelming. But in a good way. I love to go in and "window shop"...but of course, it never fails...that I can't find that perfect fabric when I'm hunting for it. Not for the lack of trying though. There is so much there to choose from I think it is not at all possible to retain everything you see. Their 40% Sale days are crazy...LOTS of people. I personally choose to skip those 40% sales myself...but if you don't mind crowds....GO FOR IT....it is such a great deal. All types of fabrics...cottons for quilting....bridal/formal fabrics...house decor fabrics...yarns...gifts....notions....lots of things. If you have not been....you HAVE to go!
The biggest fabric store I've ever seen! by
If you can't find it here, it isn't available. They have LOTS of fabric in every department from quilting to fine tapestries, home dec, children's prints, yarn and embroidery, books, many craft supplies,, etc., etc. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable and service is swift even when a great sale is on and buyers abound. It's a great store. We're lucky to have it within our reach of the Portland area.
Large place, lots of fabric by
The frequent 30% and 40% off sales are very tempting and great times to buy. Enjoyed the class I took, although the instructor not as knowledgeable as I would have liked. Only concern is that some of the fabric is not first run--that's why the prices are lower than elsewhere. Incredible variety of lines and types of fabric, including fabric for dresses and other clothes. Good variety of samples and quilting supplies.
