I don't generally write reviews- in fact, this is my 1st one! I€™m compelled to after seeing this place get such bad ones. On top of that, Ill even be brutally honest about my situation-even though I normally dont like to talk about it. Just in the event that someone else like me is out there & needs a doctor who knows what they'€™re doing. This is THE place to go to if that is you! Ive been dealing with a Bartholin's Gland Cyst for over 6 years. I€˜ve seen multiple doctors & havent found one that seems to know much. I have no insurance and pay out of pocket so it€™s even more frustrating. So Ive mostly sucked it up & dealt with it as much as I can on my own because thats what we do as women. Not being able to ignore or put it off anymore, Ive seen 3 doctors in the last 3 weeks & no one knows how to help me. I finally resorted to calling referred doctors and a long list of ones I looked up, interviewing over the phone to inquire about their experience before I waste money to find out they cant help me. At my wits end I gave up. Until Dr Lara Williams from this clinic called me back HERSELF! She was full of knowledge, wisdom & obvious experience in dealing with these. Ive never had the actual doctor call me back unless it's a Naturopath. I couldnt believe she called me back herself and talked to me in such depth without me even being a patient. Given my unique circumstances & needs at this point, that was EXACTLY what I needed! I promptly cancelled the other apt I had & went to this clinic. They even worked me in quicker than normal because my situation called for it. Hope is such a beautiful thing when youre confused and feel like a freak because no one knows how to help you. After years of pain & frustration I had hope for the first time. At my appointment I was promptly helped and barely had to wait at all like some other reviews have said. It was the end of the day too when you can tell everyone wants to go home, but they still took their time and helped me in every way possible. Dr. Williams was just plain RAD! If the personal phone call didnt tell me that, the office visit did even more! She listened to everything and had such amazing insight into my situation it immediately put me more at ease! Her knowledge & wisdom were not only comforting but also very informative. She'€™s simply amazing! I can'€™t even find words to express just how HUGE it is to finally find a doctor that knows how to help & that I feel I can trust!! Nor are there words adequate to describe how awesome it is to find one who has experience, wisdom, and confidence in what to do for my situation. I went from feeling like a freak-- desperate to find anyone to help me-- to being filled with hope & reassurance that I€™m in good hands and can trust her advice for treatment. What a huge relief! I don't know all the doctors here but they all come highly recommended! I can see why now! Sadly, it€™s rare to find personalized care/attention in the medical field today. As much as it€™s easy to judge doctors & clinics based on this, I think there are many other factors that make it that way & not the doctors themselves. Because it is rare, experiences like mine are even more amazing and valuable! On top of that, this is a field in which none of us women are very excited about participating in. Which makes finding the right doctor/clinic even more annoying, but also important. I highly recommend this place to anyone for whatever your needs are! I kind of thought my first review online would be for a restaurant or some favorite place I like to always go, not one of THESE places, haha! The experience I just had though calls for it... even if it feels a bit vulnerable or weird to share something so personal. This clinic & these ladies really DO care! You can be confident in knowing they€™ll help you out with the utmost care & respect for your own personal needs! Personally, I will not ever turn anywhere else again!
