I was very nearsighted but since lasik eye surgery at Evergreen eye center my vision is 20/15 and i don't need any glasses or contacts for my favorite sports or for anything. My vision is perfect. I didn't have any pain and the next day I was up and about like usual. Dr. Jarstad was outstanding and explained everything very clearly and is a very knowledgeable, skilled surgeon. The staff was upbeat and kind and made me comfortable-- I was pretty scared cuz it was my eyes-- it took me 3 years of researching different doctors before deciding to do it-- I didn't do it on a whim-- but i felt like Evergreen was the right place and it turned out perfectly.. I couldn't really afford to pay for it up front but they have a bank that works with them to get credit for procedures if you qualify. That worked out great for me so that i didn't have to wait any longer. Best thing i have ever done and I don't know why i waited so long now that I can see everything so clear and in detail.

There are a few times in your life when you see a doctor who is truly exceptional. That was my experience at Evergreen Eye Center. Dr. Jarstad saved my life and found a brain tumor. I'd wait in line a week for him and the staff who helped me were friendly and helpful. I continue to see Dr. Jarstad because he's the best there is. Ron H.
Bad Doctors - Bad clinic by
I was diagnosed with excessive tearning due to a blocked tear canal. They refered me to a surgery. I saw anither doctor who cured the excessive tears due to an infection.

I was nervous and scared for my appointment. but the staff made me feel comfortable and Dr. Tester was knowledgable and patient, I asked between 100 and 5000 questions and he was able to give me solid answers. I read other reveiws before the visit that were very nasty and i can not even believe it was the same staff I dealt with today.
I had cataract surgery at this facility. I am very disappointed with the service I received. #1. The support staff was very rude.#2. When I developed problems, I was not allowed to see the doctor that did the surgery. #3. I felt like a number in a factory. I had problems with the surgery, but no one gave a concern that I was having problems. It was like, oh well, your eyes really don't matter. #4. Then, I had problems with the payments from my primary insurance and medicare. The financial office lost one of my checks and said that I still owed them the amount that was mailed to them. I have been extremely disappointed with the doctors and the support staff at this facility. I would not recommend that anyone go there unless they like being treated like a number.
POOR Staffing by
Never have we been seen in a timely manner. You can expect to wait at least a half hour past your appointment time. We waited over 2 1/2 hour at one time and needed to leave to make it to another appointment. The staff then called our family "problem patients". The doctors, once you get your few moments with them, are good doctors. They all seem very skilled.Any doctors office can have an emergency and as patients we need to be understanding about that as it may be us that needs to be seen at sometime. However, when it becomes a habit, something should be done. We have tried all locations with the same results, so if you don't mind never being seen at your appointment time, this is a great option.
