I was recommended to Ernie's Auto a few years ago to get a small job done . Since then , I have had many things done to my 1996 Ford Ranger truck ( 341,000 miles ). The work is great and you don't have to wail long to get professional , friendly service . When you want your automobile repaired in a timely manner by a professional staff , Ernie's is the place you need to be . You will feel at home and know that any ( auto ) problem will be taken care of . I always look forward to seeing Ernie and his staff :):)

Toke my car here first thing in the morning when they opened at 8:30. I had an appointment. They never even looked at my care until after 4pm. After 5pm they said the problem was the water pump. So at this time they would get the part tomorrow. Finley got my car back the next night at 3:30pm for something with an appointment should take a day. Ended up not being the problem.



Now I wanted to bring it back, but asked if I could have it looked at before noon. Ernie said he decides witch cars get looked at first. Why make appointments? I said I might have to look somewhere else. He said you should. I would have liked him to look at it because he know the history, but might be better off. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I had never heard of dry rot, and come to find out, 2 of my tires had it. Thanks to Ernie, I have 2 new tires. No more rotting tires here!

Before every trip that I make with any of my cars, I have Ernie check it out first. And it only costs $25. My high beams were out and he fixed them for me. That's all that was wrong. Ernie is a mechanic you can trust, he doesn't inflate his prices and doesn't sell you things your car doesn't need.

I recently had my muffler replaced at Ernie's. I was very impressed that they brought me out to see the underneath of my car to see the rust holes for myself. It was just my muffler that had rusted, but also in parts of my exhaust pipe. It wasn't so bad that my entire pipe needed to be replaced, just a section. They were able to cut that part out and weld in a new section. It was very well done. No one else touches my car but Ernie's. I highly recommend anyone to have Ernie work their car. He treats you with respect and if you have anyone questions he will take the time answer them, and even show you on your car.

My car is serviced by no one else. Ernie and his staff are professional and deliver on what they promise. I had a terrible misfire in my Dodge Intrepid, and another shop told me it was a blown head gasket and it needed a new engine. I wanted a second opinion and my son's teacher told me about Ernie's. I took my car to Ernie and they determined all it needed was a good tune up. That was 18 months ago, and I am still riding around in my Intrepid! The prices are reasonable and they were able to complete my tune up the next day. I go back now for my oil changes and winterization where they tested my battery and found that it would not make it thru the winter. Saved me some more grief later on. Go to Ernie's! You won't be disappointed.
