Description: There have been many changes over the years, however, our philosophy remains the same;Offer the customer the very best product, competitive prices and superior service. Most importantly, stand behind everything you sell! In 1946, Cec Ennis and his brother-in-law Bill Petersen began selling furniture in Boise at the corner of 23rd and Fairview. The Ennis Drexel Heritage showroom still occupies the partner's original building, a converted 1910 livery stable, where Dick Ennis (son and nephew of the original founders) continues the family business. In 1962 the store was remodeled. Now, in Boise, there are three different showrooms near downtown Boise - the original (Drexel//Henredon/Thomasville Showroom) at 23rd & Fairview, the Bernhardt/Stickley Showroom across the street and the Patio Shop/Ennis Express on the north side of Fairview. Today, Ennis stores can also be found in Reno, Nevada, and in Richland and Spokane, Washington. Three generations later, all six Ennis children carry on the family tradition and philosophy.

The fabric looks crushed and the chairs look much older than they are. They looked used after just 1 sitting. Ennis came out and steamed them. That helped until we sat in them again. They won't do anything else about it.The sofa is another story. We complained because the fabric wasn't holding up. Ennis had the manufacturer replace the fabric. It is falling apart again. Ennis won't do anything now because we've passed the 3-year warranty. Ennis says the sofa shows huge amounts of wear from heavy use. Our dog isn't allowed on it and the kids are rarely on it, and no wrestling has ever been allowed. I do sit on it daily. So, we'll have to pay to have it recovered at some point and I'm very disappointed with how long it's held up.As an FYI, Mr. Ennis has offered to sell us a new leather sofa at some sort of a

Sales rep. was patient and had good ideas for furniture arrangements. Offered to come to home for personal consultation. Discussed qualities of fabrics and longivity of items. Very knowledgeable rep. Followed up with call.
