Empowerment Learning provides a program that is designed to meet the unique needs of underachieving students. Our goal is to work with districts, schools and parents to help bridge achievement gaps and improve student's academics.

We currently serve students K-12. We serve regular education, special needs and English Language Learners. Services are provided before and after school and on Saturdays upon request. Each student will receive at least two hours of tutoring twice a week, which includes at least 30 hours of tutoring. All sessions are taught in small groups using direct instruction method. All students are provided with an individual learning plan which is generated from school test data or a pretest or a combination of both. IEPs and 504 plans are used as well if available. Lessons are scaffold starting with simple strategies and working to more complex strategies as the students gain necessary skills.

Parents are included in developing the student's Learning Plan, which guides the instruction provided for each student. Parents along with the school will receive pre and post test results, Learning Plan and monthly progress reports.

80% of tutors employed are certified teachers and no more than 20% of it's tutors have at least 60-90 college credits from an accredited college. All staff will receive a background check and fingerprinted. All screens must show a negative criminal history before employed with ELS.
