We rented Harlan East for a week. We feel it was falsely advertised as having an ocean view. From the back porch there was a huge sand dune which completely obstructed the view. You had to climb steps to an observation deck to see the ocean and then climb down steps on the other side of the deck to reach the beach. My husband had had knee surgery and could not climb. We were not advised of the sand dune in advance, and so he spent the week staring at a sand dune off the back porch instead of the ocean. He brought this to the attention of those present when we checked out and NOTHING was done to reimburse us for the misadvertisement. When friends asked us this week where we had stayed on Emeral Isle I told them what had happened through your realty company and advised them to seek alternate lodgings, which they have done. Misrepresentation of properties will NOT net you return customers, that I KNOW. Also, there was a bug problem with the property.
