Don't hire this guy! by runswscissors - 09/15/2008This guy, Alan Miller, could not be nicer when selling me a nearly $2,000 bill of goods in June for a panel upgrade. The work got done and I paid him in cash. When he pulled the permit in June, he bounced the check and I found out recently from Xcel Energy that I need to get the inspection myself. Repeated calls to Alan Miller initially got promises, but no results, and finally, no answer at all. It is now September and I had to secure the permit out of my pocket. I got Miller's work inspected and it failed. Not only did it fail, but substandard work and corner-cutting has put my home and my family at risk of electrical failure and/or fire. I now have to hire and pay another electrician to clean up Miller's shoddy work and secure my home's safety. I have found out through various sources that I am not the only one of his customers in this position. Hire him at your own risk, literally and figuratively.
Electric ER- GOOD JOB by Horse Guy - 03/20/2008We had a guy from Electric E.R. come out to our house and replace our breaker box and wire a hot tub. They were on time and did a great job. We would highly recomend them to anyone. We found some coupons on their web page that saved us some $$$. www.electricer.com ,
