El Fredo Pizza, named for Fred Lennon, started at 27th and Pierce Streets in Sioux City. The first pizzas cost $1.19 for a small and up to $4.75 for a large. The restaurant moved to 24th and Court streets in 1958 and remained at that location through 1987. Al Ackerman, who had eight children, served as the business' general manager for years. All of his children, like the 12 Lennon kids, worked in the enterprise.

Good but not the best pizza, maybe the best in Sioux City. The pepperoni isn't very good, the sausage is great! I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. The crust was good. Read Full Review on Yelp.com.
