Safway Supply (our old name) has been serving the commercial construction and industrial markets for more than 50 years. The company was started by Jesse Thomas in 1949 as a scaffolding system distributor. In time, with the leadership of Rick Thomas, tool and supply sales were added over the years and had grown to become a majority of the business.

In 2007, we sold the scaffolding division and changed our name from Safway Supply, to Edge Construction Supply. With this change came a slight change in our direction: from a scaffold & supply-oriented to a solution, tool & supply-oriented business. Though the name and focus are different, six decades’ worth of expertise remains the same. Edge’s three-pronged business strategy – distribution, rentals, and repair – promises steady growth in all eight branches.
