My wife and I organize a group of friends, who have retired, and have monthly luncheons. We chose to try out Edgar’s Italian Restaurant as our monthly luncheon (there was 15 of us). The restaurant main room had a nice decor with plenty of parking in the rear of the restaurant. We were seated in the Banquet room which had plenty of room and seating. After looking at the menu for about 10 minutes, the order was finally taken; we received bread but not enough for the amount of people there. While waiting for our food we ran out of the drinks we had received and since no waitress had come by, I went out to the main room (which was empty) and asked a waitress that we needed refills. When she arrived, I again asked for more bread since we hadn’t received any more yet. We received our meals not all at once, I was half way through my meal before everyone finally got theirs and again I asked for bread and more coffee. I received the coffee but no bread. After I finished my meal and was getting ready to leave, the waitress finally brought in the bread and only for our side. I really do not plan to make that restaurant part of our luncheon monthly rotation.

The waitresses were polite but the service was very bad and the food was OK, I have had much better Italian cuisine, much better service from the waitress and other places were able to serve our food at a timely manner. The restaurant was well aware we were having our luncheon there (almost three weeks notice) and the amount of people that were to be served. Ultimately the Restaurant Management was inefficient and ill prepared for any large group.
