We appreciate your feedback. We do not know the specific situation during your prescription refill, but there may have been a couple of things affecting the timeliness of the transaction. We recommend calling in a prescription refill prior to your arrival so that the medications are ready for you at the front counter when you come in to pick them up. If they were not called in prior to your arrival, it takes time to get the doctors approval (especially if she is with a client), and it can also take additional time if the medications need to be compounded, cut, or reconstituted. The front desk can be a very busy job - not only do we check out our retail shoppers, but also check in and out our veterinary appointments, answer the phones, and assist the medical staff. Even when it appears to not be busy, there are a lot of underlying duties our staff is completing that may not be obvious to our clientelle.We do price check our services and products to ensure that we are competitive in the industry with other retail stores and veterinary clinics in the surrounding areas. We try our best to provide the highest quality care at competitive prices.The managers would love to talk with you personally to find out how to improve our operations and get insight on what occurred with your situation specifically - we can only fix what we know about!
