Welcome to the Eating Disorder Center of Denver (EDC-D), a treatment center for both women and men basedin Colorado.
Each year, our culture’s obsession with the perfect body triggers destructive eating disorder behaviors
in many women and men. At EDC-D, we offer help and hope by healing the mind, body and spirit of the
men and women, 18 years and older, affected by anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder.
EDC-D believes that eating disorders are biological/psychological/social/spiritual illnesses requiring a comprehensive
array of treatments that empower patients to become self-directed in regaining their health. An experienced team of
board-certified psychiatrists, physicians, clinicians, family and experiential therapists, and dietitians work together with
the patient to: identify factors that drive the patient’s eating disorder; create opportunities to introduce positive behavioral
changes; and devise a transitional plan so that those changes become rooted in every day life. Our goal is to provide
innovative, mindful and compassionate treatment to help patients attain a healthy and long-term recovery.
We provide partial hospitalization, evening intensive, outpatient and aftercare support programs for patients and
their families. We accept most insurances and lodging is available if needed. Let us give you the skills, motivation,

My "Little Angel" by Suffering Dad - 05/08/2009My darling 20 yr.old daughter has finally admitted that she would like to seek help for her eating disorder. She's currently attending a twelve step program after being mis diagnosed at a behavioral facility. Please furnish all the information for her to make the next step. over eater, bulimic, some drugs by Momma - 04/14/2009I am writing on behalf of my 21 year old beautiful daughter...she knows there is a hugh problem but yet continues with her disorders thinking that others are worse off. She has a beautiful 5 year old boy, Cameron, my grandson who loves her dearly. She is rail thin and I know she worry about gaining any weight. I work at a bank and my time with them is limited. I know she needs me more than I can be there for her. I can see in her eyes the cry for help. Please help me to help her. I don't want to lose my girl.
A Wonderful Place by LMF - 12/26/2007My time in the outpatient program was wonderful. It was the hardest thing I ever did, but it was also the best thing I ever did. The entire team at EDCD is focused on recovery and helping patients understand all facets of this disease. They "get it".
