The Eastgate Pet Clinic was founded in 1986 by Dr. Robert Gilmore and Dr. Mary Fowler. Dr. Clyde Cieszynski joined the practice in 1995. The Eastgate Pet Clinic was founded in 1986 by Dr. Robert Gilmore and Dr. Mary Fowler. Dr. Clyde Cieszynski joined the practice in 1995. The doctors' main focus is on cats and dogs, although we do have the occasional pocket pet come through the door. We know that pets are an important extension of Family, and we try to provide the best possible care for them.

The clinic has been serving South East Boise in the same location since inception, and underwent a major remodel and expansion in 2009. We see patients by appointment. New patients are always welcome!

Services we routinely provide include:

Physical Examinations: Diagnosis and treatment of sick pets, as well as wellness exams for preventative care of healthy pets.

Vaccinations for cats and dogs:
- Routine dog & cat vaccinations, many on a 3 year booster schedule.
We use the safer, non-adjuvanted Feline Leukemia and Rabies vaccines for our cat patients.
- Canine Influenza vaccine available.
- Periodontal disease vaccine available for dogs.

Diagnostic Laboratory Tests. Both in-clinic testing and veterinary clinical pathology laboratory testing as appropriate.

In-clinic Pharmacy for client convenience.

Radiographs (X-rays)

General Surgery:
- Including Spays and Neuters
(Pain control medications are sent home after surgery or dental procedures)

Dental Care:
- Dental X-rays
- Teeth Cleaning
- Dental Extractions
- Dental Fillings
- Porphyromonas vaccines (against periodontal disease)


The clinic has a good selection of Hill's Prescription Diet, Purina Veterinary Diet, and IAMS Veterinary Formula brand prescription diets available in the lobby.
