I bought a new dishwasher at Lowe's and Lowe's contracts with Easterday for delivery and installation. As promised, we received a phone call 10 minutes prior to their arrival. The 2 plumbers were polite, clean-cut and did a very clean and professional job. The removal of old dishwasher and new installation took 1 hour. My husband and I were extremely pleased.

I used Easterday many times in the past and they use to be reasonable on pricing. However, when I recently started my new remodel I used them to conceal a 1' vent pipe in the ceiling before I closed it in. That was $250.00, but I thought it was due to it being a small job. 2/21/2012 I used them again as I thought that was just a fluke. Ken charged $435.00 to cut and extend and cap to copper lines, cost and install of a closet flange with 90 degree, and to install a toilet without removal. When I called to discuss the extreme pricing I was told by Clint that they charge $185 to remove and replace a toilet but still charged me $175 to only install one. The whole job only took 1 1/2 hours. They use to be reasonable. I called Tom's and received a quote of $250 for the same job, with adding a vanity sink install. Save your money folks, use someone else. Ken Easterday does good work but unreasonable. BTW, they were down the street on the same day, I'll talk to that neighbor.

Easterday Plumbing is a real rip off! Save your money and call another plumber. Besides excessive prices, in my case, it was 2 times more than another plumber who did service in 30 minutes. Oh yea, and be careful of their racket of charging you $19.95 to come to your house to give you a ridiculous estimate- if you do not accept their quote! I do not want to work with a business like this. That is why they pay extra money for membership to Better Business Bureau to get A+ rating..

Their work is consistently high quality and their prices are reasonable. I did not realize how reasonable their prices were until I asked some other plumbers for estimates and compared them all.

We had a major plumbing emergency (whole house) and easterday came out promptly. They gave us a fair estimate with a warranty and completed our while house job in less than a week! My plumber was wonderful, clean & professional- and he and his partner even took out my fixtures as part if the job! Then they cleaned up everyday & Swiffered my floor when they made a mess!! How great is that?! So yes, plumbing is expensive but these guys made me happy so I'm not so upset about the price- some people are just cheap!

I called them in an emergency and they came right out and did fantastic work. I've already scheduled them back to do more work!

Plus side: they came out promptly, had standard parts available on the truck, and fixed two toilets that were running by replacing the flappers in about 20 minutes.



Downside: they charged $195 for it.
