1 Dangerous Office Staff Can Cause Harm to Patients! by VirtualConsumer - 07/27/2012

Office staff is terrible! Dr. Lee is a great doctor if you can get past his staff. MRI building is not any better and the girls in there don t want to work. They all are all friends and will purposely hold up your tests if you get them mad. Very unprofessional and dangerous! I waited months to get MRI appointment because of office girl named VIcki. I see lawsuit by someone SOON!

1 Very Concerned by Concerned Patient - 11/28/2011

Although I am pleased with the physicians and nursing staff at ECN, my concern is with the front desk folks and appointment staff. They show no concern for patients and some are quite rude. Each time I have needed a referral or follow-up , the girls at the desk have either not made the appointment or say they do not do referrals. Most medical insurance companies will not pay see another specialist, unless there is a referral from the treating physician. I usually wait 2 to 3 weeks to hear back from ECN for my appointment but always have to call them and the girl on the phone is very short with me, and tells me that humans make mistakes. Once yes, but today is the 4th "human error". Another "human error" was that my test results had been lost and that was why my appointment was never made. I called my insurance company and by some miracle, the bill did not get lost due to "human error".I hope the doctors of this practice are aware of the irresponsibility and lack of compassion.

5 Peace of mind by James P - 06/01/2010

Took my 79 year old dad to ECN to check on the progression of his dementia. We saw Dr. Frere...he was very professional and friendly...Dr. Frere, with the help of his nurse went through some tests with my father to develop a baseline on his dementia so we will know as time goes on how he is progressing. Very enlightening!

5 East Carolina Neurology by Granny - 04/14/2009

I have been a patient here for several years. The facility gives patients the highest quality of service from the appointmet staff to the physicians. As a patient with MS, I have many questions and often need to be seen between regular appointments. There has never been a problem getting an appointment and the nurses call back promptly if you need them to. I believe this is an excellent facility and highly recommend it.
