We got two schnoodles here. We love them tremendously but, the reason for a cross bred is health. Our oldest female is seven years old. She has had pancreatitis twice. That is a genetic issue, very painful for the dog and expensive for us. She has hip issues, another genetic thing, that have been around since she was a pup. The younger dog is four. I was promised she would weigh no more than 12 pounds. She weighs 20 lbs. She was supposed to be non shedding having two non shedding parents. She sheds, a LOT. Her tail was improperly docked, leaving the point of the bone exposed. The other dog still has her dew claws, an extra expense at grooming time. At the time I got my dogs, their prices were good. They were both. $500. Now they ask $1,200.00. I think that this kennel is not technically a puppy mill, but I also think they are not too picky about the dogs they breed. Proceed with caution.

I just purchased a 6-month old Chihuahua named Hunter last weekend. I wanted an older puppy. When I arrived, I noticed how orderly and clean the kennels were. Karen was so kind and accommodating. Hunter was brought out and my sons and I fell I'm love with him. He's perfect for us. He is a well behaved puppy who has been easy to house train so far and who took little time to be at home in our house. He's adjusted so well. He has a wonderful, sweet, affectionate personality. He loves to be held. Unlike most ChiChis I have observed, Hunter is very laid back and not a nervous puppy. He's a joy for our family! When we add another dog to our family, we'll only go to EK Kennels!

We cannot say enough about E & K Kennels ... because they helped us bring home another family member. Shortly after our beloved Brussels Griffon passed away, we began our search for another Griff. At E & K we found a Griff/Poodle mix, and we were thrilled. I was so impressed by their professionalism from the very first phone call onward. They consistently answered their phone, and every employee was familiar with the pets and policies. We drove over 5 hours to pick up our new baby ... and it was worth it! The kennel was clean, orderly, and everyone was friendly and warm. They also were willing to provide a vet reference and received glowing reviews. Our puppy smelled fresh and was ready to go when we got there. We met his breeder and were able to see his mother, father, and littermate.



Since bringing our puppy home, we have been so impressed. He is eating well, housetraining, and thriving. He was also healthy other than an ear infection which is common in kenneled puppies. And ... since he came to us slightly older (4 months) .. he came knowing how to play fetch thanks to E & K. We just love him to pieces.



I would strongly recommend E & K Kennels to anyone looking for a quality puppy from quality people.

I purchased my French Bulldog from E and K kennel. Immediately after picking him up I took him to the vet. The vet went crazy over this puppy he cuddled with him and told me that he had the most amazing personality and he was 100% healthy. After bringing him home the neighbors won't leave my back yard. My frenchie is perfect! E and K Kennels did an amazing job raising him and giving me all of the information I needed to continue to raise him to be the best pup he could be! Thank you E and K!

I just bought my baby boston from EK and they were very helpful in picking out my baby. I could not decide if I wanted a male or female and they told me all I needed to know about both. I did buy a little boy and he is just great he has already been neutered so that helps me with some of the expenses. I would recommend them to anyone when you are looking for that special baby. I bought my yorkie puppy over the weekend I had never bought a puppy from a breeder before but it has been a great experience. I know my puppy has been vet checked and she is even spayed which I think that says alot about where she came from. I can't say enough about EK Kennels they were pleasant to deal with. We love Kooper... he was a bit older (4 months) when we got him. They were great to deal with and let us take our time choosing him, allowing us to have one on one time with them. He did have a touch of Kennel cough, but our initial trip to the vet took care of it in a couple of days. Very pleased!! Thank you SOOO much for the wonderful addition to our family! Clemmons, NC

My wife and I had been searching for the perfect puppy for quite some time and had visited other kennels that were dirty with puppies that were very unkempt and had just about given up on finding "the perfect puppy".



We had just about given up on finding the puppy we wanted, in the condition we were willing to pay for, when we happened across E&K Kennels. After arriving in the countryside, we found a very clean, odor-free facility with the healthiest puppies we had ever seen. These puppies had personalities, were vigorous and even smelled good.



The staff took the time to understand what we were interested in and showed us puppy after puppy until we made up our minds, which was the first one we looked at. Our experience was a delight after seeing the shoddy conditions some of the other breeders keep their pets in, and the poor quality of breeding.



We highly recommend E&K Kennels to anyone looking for the "perfect puppy".
