I recently moved here a few months from the L.A. area and I needed to find a salon to get my daily sunshine. I have tanned at many salons in my lifetime and I have to say this is by far the best place I have ever been. I signed up on the VIP ,which allows me to tan at either location, and both places have the friendliest customer service ever. They are always attentive and so polite which is so hard to find anywhere nowadays. The beds are amazing! I saw results after one time. And the place is so clean. The employees told me that they are taught to be OCD about cleaning, and let me tell you, it shows. So basically, the whole atmosphere is wonderful. I always feel so welcomed and would definately recommend Down Under to anyone looking for a clean, friendly and most of all an affordable tan.

I have been tanning at Down Under Tanning For years and have always thought that Down Under tanning was The best Tanning Salon in the bay. But now that new ownership has moved in I could not be happier. The new owner and her team of girls are always very friendly and the salon is always spotless. I Live in Pleasanton and drive all the way to Livermore Just to tan at Down Under Taning. I recently Started to use their Spray Booth and was amazed at the results. My husband could not believe the difference between Down Under Tannings spray booth and the local competitors spray booth that I was going to. The Beds are the best beds I have ever tanned in. I can not tan for weeks at a time, and as soon as I return to tanning I see results after just a couple sessions. I highly recommend Down Under Tanning to anyone that is looking for a very clean and friendly Tanning salon.

I would not reccommed this tanning salon. I went there and had a very poor experience. Not only was my tan ridiculously uneven, but when I called crying and upset the owner was very rude to me. She insisted it was my fault and was in no way helpful in a solution even though there was obviously something wrong with her machine. I couldn''t believe someone could be so rude to a possibly returnig customer. I did however contact Aloha Tans in Livermore and they helped me even though it was a competitor's mistake.
