a total care family vet
by Kevin M. , 04/17/2014
I have taken my large and small animals to Double Arrow for years. I have always been happy with the common sense care and assistance. If you want your animals to get great care, go to Double Arrow...If you want high prices and fancy decore, go somewhere else....As for me, I'm staying right here!
Common Sense Vet

Took my puppy there for shots & over all care. Very down to earth, common sense approach without all the fluff.
Excellent Service and Care
by Marti C , 09/23/2013
We have received nothing but excellent service from Double Arrows two vets and their personnel. Our dogs have been treated with care and kindness and our pocket books have not been raped when we have checked out. I have recommended them to everyone who asks about good reasonably priced vets in the Tri Cities. I would consider them the best in the area. I am so thankful that we found them when we moved to the area.

My family and I have taken my dogs to this vet for several years and I have always had a mediocre experience with the business. My mom's dog was recently very ill, however, and she made the decision to have him put down. This was a very difficult decision for her, and she had her dog taken in on a Wednesday morning. The staff led my family to believe that her dog had been put down instantly. My mom proceeded to mourn her dog. TWO DAYS later, Double Arrow left her a message saying they had something to discuss with her. When she called them back, the receptionist said that the doctor had wanted to give my mom's dog another day to see if he improved, that he was still alive, they had not put him down, and asked if she wanted to come pick him up. She was horrified. She asked if his condition had changed, the receptionist said no, and my mom had to tell them again to put her dog down. Another family member called that afternoon to talk to the vet about how this could have happened, and the receptionist wouldn't put her through and ended up hanging up on my family member. I am not the type of person to normally complain about a business, but I can't believe how unprofessional and horrible our experience has been with this vet. When a person makes the difficult decision to put their animal down, the vet needs to take care of it. It's difficult enough to reach that decision in the first place. Needless to say, neither myself nor any of my family members or friends will be returning to this vet.
What kind of quack runs this place
by Mark m. , 09/25/2012
Brought my animal in for an emergency, trauma to back legs. After waiting for an hour for a vet to arrive, tech wouldn't even look at animal, the vet vigorously shook and dumped the cat out of the carrier on his damaged leg. Temp was taken, 105. Then cat was brought to their back room when I insisted on x-rays and was told they'd call me after x-rays done. They didn't so I called them. Was told there's no IV's, fever hadn't come down and they'd need to keep him in observation over the night. Called later and they were closed. What kind of observation are they billing for when nobody is there except a critical caged cat?Following day my DIL spoke to them and the routine was the same, no further treatments but kitty asprin and a bolus of antibiotics (was previously an ER Tech) with another night of unobserved "observation."Am discussing with my DIL about removing him so Dr. B can treat him humanely. As a former medically trained person, I find this place to be totally reprehensible! Take your animal elsewhere and leave this guy to deal with horses and pigs, it suits him.Do NOT use this place!!!!!!!!M MurbachPasco, Wa.(so the quack knows who filed this complaint)Price Range: $200 - $300Recommended: No

Polite professional service, straight talk and gets it done. Fair prices wish I had found them sooner.
Worst Vet Ever
by Scotch , 07/14/2012
This is the worst vet I have ever been to in my life. We took our dog here his entire life and the office staff was always rude. They acted liked they didn't know us or had ever met us before every time we came in. Our dog was always extremely scared of the place and people after while like they didn't treat the animals well. Our dog recently had his kidneys shutdown and we had to have him put to sleep. When we called double arrow they told us we could not be with him when they put him down. That is just wrong and cruel to the animal. We took out dog to Blue Cross Animal Hospital. There the staff was nice and let you be with them. They gave you as much time as you needed to be with them there too. Over all: I DO NOT recommend double arrow for anything.
