Brow Repair by Brow Repair - 12/19/2009
I screwed up my own eyebrows so badly, I didn't think anyone could fix them. I couldn't stop trying to pluck them evenly... by the time I was done, there wasn't much hair left. And the shape was awful. Luckily, I found my way to Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler and my wonderful aesthetician patched me up :) If you're like me and too precocious with a tweezer, give these guys a try!

Dolce is a clean, chic, and professional environment and I was very pleased with my experience. When I came in, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but just knew that I was trying to grow my hair out. My stylist asked all the right questions about my lifestyle and personal style to come up with a cut that would best suit me. She was extremely friendly and warm and I felt comfortable in her care. Not only does she have a great personality, but is also highly knowledgeable and skilled at her trade. I left with an awesome hair cut that was beautifully styled.

I have been to many different salon and spas all across the valley, my exsperience with Dolce was excellent. The decor, the people, and the service i recieved were superb, i will definitely be going back! When i first arrived i was greeted immediatly, while i was checking in the front desk, all of the girls were very nice and personable. They proceded to take me to the spa area. In the spa area there was a peacful waterfall, and super comfortable couches to rest on until my massage therapist was ready for me. Then i had my service which was honestly the best massage I have had in a long time, i loved all of it. I cant wait till I get to go back again!

I wanted to send a note to say that I had another awesome visit on November 14th at Dolce Salon & Spa Chandler. I am now about finished with growing out my hair and Dolce stylist has cut it to perfection. The time spent on styling my hair at the salon has helped me when I get home to know how to style it on my own to make it look the best. I will definitely be back again next time. Dolce has a dedicated patron for sure! Everyone is also always so friendly and I have a great experience while I'm getting my hair treated and cut. Love the atmosphere of the salon too.

I wanted to thank Danya so much for doing my hair! I love coming into Dolce and getting my hair done! I rarely get a person that I absolutely love they way they cut and style my hair! I have super thick hair and it hard to cut my hair evenly but Danya was able to do it perfectly! I also loved getting my hair washed and blown dried out! All my friends complimented on how pretty it looked and asked where i got it done! I hope I can get my hair done again before the new semester starts!

Dear Sirs...Hi! My name is Sally Herman and I have found a gold mine in your salon! It is hard for me to find a salon and personnel that I love and I have found that in you guys! Thank.. you. My hair is very frizzy and unmanageable, but somehow when I leave your salon my hair is smooth and put together so beautifully and it lasts! You see, I am an RN and I go and volunteer with Operation Smile every 2-3 months overseas. We repair cleft lips and palates on impoverished children and I pay my way and go for about two weeks leading a medical team. It is tedious and I have found a place (Dolce) to come to before I leave and my hair is taken care of for at least a week when I am in africa, vietnam, cambodia, brazil.etc. Thank you! Last time I visited I was headed to South Africa. My appt. was on Sept. 3 at 7pm in Chandler by the Chandler Mall and I chose to have you guys cut my hair. IT was beautiful and I got alot of compliments. I didnt have to worry. great!Sally Herman

I love that Dolce stays open late and most times they can get you in with a short notice.  It was a Saturday and my daughter and I had shopped all day.  We decided to “take a chance” to see if Dolce had availability for two facial appointments for that evening.  We were able to secure the appointments which was 1 ½ hours later.  The atmosphere is so relaxing.  My gal was a little rushed as she had plans but otherwise it was a good experience.  The specials they offer keep me coming back.

Many of my friends had talked about going to Dolce for haircuts and dye jobs so when I got a gift card to try their services I figured it wouldn't hurt and I am SO GLAD I did. From the very beginning everyone was so nice and helpful. I went in to my appointment with minimal thoughts on how I wanted my hair so the girl who cut my hair (i'm blanking on her name) offered suggestions and showed close examples (when possible) on girls in the salon. When we decided on the cut and went to wash my hair she told me all about the shampoo and conditioner she was using and told me the benefits it would give. Then when she was styling my hair how we discussed, she walked me through how to do the same thing on my own in a way that I actually was able to do once I got home.I had a dinner with friends that night and everybody raved about my new haircut and absolutely loved it. I wm definitely going to get my hair cut there from now on.

Service: October 3, 2009, 1 hour FacialWhen calling to book a Facial appointment with the girl I had last time they informed me that Shay was no longer employed by Dolce. This is my biggest complaint with Dolce, it seems like you have a really high turn-over rate with your Estheticians & Massage Therapists. I enjoy coming to Dolce for the ambiance and the relaxing spa atmosphere. As you can see in my "hair" history I like to see the same person everytime, I like knowing what I'm going to get and they know my expectations, it's really hard to get to know someone as far as facials, waxing & massages when your visiting someone new each time. For this reason I rarely visit Dolce for these services and book at another Salon & Spa unless I don't have another option. I really needed a facial so I booked with the next available which was with Cheryl. Nothing new, Cheryl has only been with Dolce for 6 months, my complaint/frustration is definitely not with Cheryl-overall she did a good job.

Gloria is the best aesthetician you will ever meet. She cares about your skin, and how you are treating yourself. She makes sure it is as important to you as it is to her. She is so professional. Gloria will work with you to make sure you are getting the kind of care and service you want. I have not tried a massage a here but I would love to. It's so relaxing and refreshing.

I started coming to Dolce for waxing and have been addicted since. The ambience the salon exudes always turns a stressful day into a relaxing one. I will never let anyone but Kacie touch my brows again. She is the epitome of a professional and really listens to my requests. I have had several facials and peels with Kacie. She always takes perfect care of my skin and explains each step as she goes along. Kacie is extremely knowledgeable of the products and any skin problems I am experiencing, and recommends real solutions. I receive compliments about my skin all the time now and I’m always proud to refer them to my aesthetician. I recently began having my hair done at Dolce by Karen. I went in ready to shave my head thinking I really wanted drastic change and that I was tired of growing out my hair. I would just like to let you know what a pleasure it is coming to Dolce. I have been a client almost since you opened the first Salon in Chandler! My last few cuts have been with Rochelle who is absolutely wonderful. She always takes care of me and listens to what I am looking for. I find that so important as I have been to places where I have walked out in tears. I saw Casey for my brow and lip wax at Dolce Chandler. When I first arrived there was a bit of a line and a wait to check in, but shortly after another representative arrived and the line went a lot quicker. Casey was very professional and an expert. She gave me advice on ways we can work to improve the look of my brows. I was very pleased. I'm glad you guys have been doing summer and fall special pricing on some services. had a massage from jessica, she is such a great massage therapist and very nice to be around. once of the best i'd say. she listens and is very thorough. dolce definitely has the best employees around. love that the 35% off for products is still going on and great online deals. for anyone getting a massage don't forget your biofreeze, they lowered the price like almost half off on top of the 35%!!! i continue to go there, i haven't found any better than dolce :)

First and foremost I have resisted coming into this spa for years, in fact my friend would practically beg me to come with her every time she scheduled an appt despite my frugalista ways. In May I finally bit the bullet and now I try to find ways to drop by to get a service every chance I get. The staff is professional and friendly and the service is wonderful, such much so that I will turn the biggest recessionista into a frequent guest.

Just had to comment on another great massage with Jessica. This time it was deep tissue. I have some very tight muscles in my neck and arms due to a lot of strength training. We are on our way to massage them out! The staff at the Borgata salon was most gracious and helpful. And Jessica is the best. I will always recommend her and Dolce for spa treatments.Thanks.

Recently went into Dolce for a mini pedicure. It was a great little feet pick me up. It is definitely mini, but it does get the job done, without frills. The tech was pretty flat/lifeless, but that was fine. It would be nice if there were magazines available. It gets a little boring just sitting there watching Dolce TV. Overall, pretty decent experience.

My mom had a gift card which had a credit left on it, she had such a nice experience she gave me the card to use the balance. I only had time for a mini pedicure before a trip out of town and I’m glad I chose dolce, it was a very pleasant and relaxing service, I vow to go back!Then...before heading out of town, I wanted a quick pampering session. My husband already had an appointment for a haircut, so I thought I’d meet him there for a brow wax and spray tan. The customer service on the phone before I even arrived made me remember why I wanted to go back to dolce, they are professional and courteous from beginning to end, and with all of the services they provide, my husband and I can get it all done in one place!

Last Saturday I had an appointment with Dayna to get my hair highlighted. It was my second visit to Dayna and I loved the last set of highlights she put in my hair. Of course I was a little worried that it might now be as fabulous as my first visit, once again Dayna did a fabulous job. She know exactly how to pick the perfect highlight combo to frame my face with and make my hair look natural. I have bounced around from stylist to stylist since my last one left Dolce and I have finally found one I know that I can trust. Plus, Dolce has become so much more affordable that it is worth visiting. I love the coupons they send me every couple of months. With the economy down, it really makes my decision to visit Dolce that much easier!! Thank you Dolce!

Once again I had the best service at Dolce Borgata in Scottsdale. Laura does my nails and they are perfect. One of the best things about Dolce is that they understand my lifestyle. I have an updated sophisticated business desire for my hair and nails and they always come through with just the right suggestion for colors etc. I also look forward to enjoying their make-up bar this Friday as I have them custom blend and match my expensive designer lipstick for half the price. So many options it is like a playground for adults. The best escape in town.

I visited the Chandler location on August 30, 2009 for a eyebrow wax and haircut/treatment. It's amazing how clean brows brighten up my whole face. Dayna always does a great job of working with my hair. I began with the deep conditioning treatment which I am now addicted to. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth for weeks. Dayna then gave me an updated cut and I'm happier than ever. I enjoyed the summer special prices again and can't wait to see what specials are advertised next.

I had my hair colored at Dolce in July and I really liked the color. I love the salon and simple things, like the sink chairs, are really comfortable. They were running great summer specials as well. What I didn't like is that I wasn't told about the $10 add on for toner or the extra bowl. When I first asked about it at the desk there was no explanation. But I did call and they took the charges off. Overall a nice experience.

I decided last minute I wanted to get my hair and makeup done for a dinner party. I called in the morning and had a brow wax, hair cut/style and makeup appt. for that same afternoon! I got my hair cut with Lexi and had so many compliments on my new hair, it was great!! My makeup looked great as well, I just wish there was more information/explanation about how to recreate the look during the makeup lesson.

I am a long time Dolce customer - since it was 1/2 of the current building in Chandler! They have done an exceptional job of branding themselves, hiring great staff and providing great customer service. I currently use both Chandler and the Borgata locations (darn Ashley had to move!), and love them both. Whenever I have had any problems (which is VERY rare), they were addressed and rectified immediately. My only suggestion is that the self-booking process were a little easier on line. Although, that could just be an operator issue...... :-)

I go to Tami at the Dolce in Chandler to get my brows down. She is the best person in town by far. I love going to dolce b/c it forces me to take time out of my busy schedule and relax! :) Although I have to drive 35 mins out of my way from where I work and live, it is totally worth it!

Scottsdale Dolce at The Borgata is the only place for pedicures! I am always greeted by name when I arrive. The front desk hostess makes sure that I have a fantastic ice tea as soon as I enter. Britney, my pedicure specialist makes sure that I have a great experience. She creates the perfect pedicure for my needs. I always leave with super soft feet. Pure luxury and a true treat.

My boyfriend treated me to the Staycation package at the Dolce Chandler location. It included a full hour of combination massage, facial, a pedicure, shampoo and style, and make-up refresher for only $190, which I thought was a steal. The service I received was top notch. Everyone was very friendly and was very good at the service they performed. At checkout, I also got recommendations on products to use at home, which I thought was a great idea. My package included a light lunch. The only thing that I think could be improved was the wait for my service after I finished eating. I felt that it was kind of long. Other that that, everything was great and I would definitely come back for future service

I had an Organic Customized Facial from Shay August 19, 2009. I usually like to stick with the same Esthetician but I'm so glad I tried someone new! I will definitely be back to see Shay, I was completely relaxed and feel my face looks bright & glowing today. I was a little annoyed with the music that was being played, I would like to hear something a little softer and relaxing. I'm thankful that Dolce is having such great specials/deals, I really hope they continue to offer specials each month during these hard times for everyone! I have been to a few salons in the valley and I conclude that Dolce is the best I've been to. Carol who styled my hair and recently did my highlights did a great job! I've had complements from friends and coworkers about it and all thanks to Carol. I like the atmosphere @ DOLCE and it’s close to shops, restaurant and my work. The Dolce staff has been helpful and accommodating as well. They regularly email their clients with deals which I think is great. Will keep coming back for sure!

Our friend told us about Dolce, so my partner and I decided to try it out. We went for a spa day since they have amazing deals. We were greeted by friendly staff at the front desk then lead to their "relaxation room", which was modern/trendy, yet peaceful. We both had the best facials and massages ever. I highly recommend their combo massage (with hot stones)...very relaxing!In between services, we were fed some amazing dessert...talk about sweet deal. Throughout our four hours there, the staff always made sure we had water/lemonade/iced tea. Again, everyone was friendly and personable with us.We both will be going back to use Dolce's services (facials, microderm, massages, haircuts, mani/pedi, etc).

Went to Dolce Salon and Spa for the first time this past weekend. We had passed by it many times and finally decided to try it. First off, the salon is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. Everyone greeted us all day long and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The services were incredible. We had a facial, pedicure and massage. The facial was excellent, the pedicure was great. The massage was totally and completely the best massage I have ever had (and I have had a ton of them). I had the combination massage which combined massagae, reflexology and hot/cold stones. It was the most relaxing 60 minutes I have had in a long long time. LOVED IT! Will be back again soon!

I have never been disappointed with this salon. I have gone for pedis, massages, facials and I regularly get my hair highlighted and cut. Everyone makes you feel important and they really listen to you. They make you feel like Princess! I have also been to other locations and have been equally as impressed with them. Jodi is the best for hair! No one is catty at the salons/spas and are very friendly. I love this salon and spa!

Hair Cut - have to find right stylist by skinaz - 08/07/2009
After 6 years of slight variations of the same hair style, I was ready for a REAL change. But I didn't trust the usual mall style salons so trie dout Dolce. I talked to a very helpful lady over phone and she made an appointment with Rochelle. Rochelle was very attentive to my concerns and she understood my fears for big change. We ended up doing brow length bangs. She was very conservative given my hesitation and keen to provide me a low maintenance hair style. I didn't like the style but since the length was conservative I ended up with side bangs instead. Love them and glad tried out Rochelle.

I visited the Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler Az on Friday June 24th. I booked an eyebrow wax, manicure and spa pedicure. Even though I was early they took me to a room where the "water wall" and music did a great job of relaxing me after a long day at work. My apps were on time and things moved like clockwork. Everyone was tuned into ensuring the comfort of the clients. I am very happy with each service. I've had trouble in the past with sore feet after a pedicure, but when Denise was done my feet felt great. I will definitely return Cathy GordonMesa, Az

Spa Manicure with Gel Polish - okay_Chandler Salon by disappointed+30 witnesses - 08/06/2009
I just recently had a spa manicure with the gel polish applied. I was really looking forward to a nice massage on my hands and trying the new gel polish product. The gel polish will take a little getting used to. I had the french polish applied. The white tips have a shape like that of a platypus bill (bubbly). When I look at the profile of my nail, it's a like there's a bubble at the end of it. Sheri, the nail tech, has been doing this for 20 years so maybe this is the way they are supposed to look. I applied my own salt scrub to my hands and rinsed it off. Nice product. The massage was less than 30 seconds...not much relaxation involved, but my skin was really moisturized. Still getting used to the new shape of my nails, but did like the fact that I left the salon with undentable nails.

I have been a longtime client of Dolce Salon. I have previously posted raves about Berenice Segura. She remains one of the most talented and precise stylists I have ever encountered. So much so, that I referred my good friend Jim to Berenice. Jim is very particular about his hair because he has very thinning hair along with some balding. He lives in NJ, very close to Manhattan, and was vacationing in Phoenix last week, so I made haircut appointments for us both. We both received stellar cuts, and Berenice paid particular attention to Jim's concerns regarding his thinning hair. So much so that he told me it was the best cut he had received in a very long time. That is a huge statement coming from someone who normally gets his haircut in Manhattan! He is somewhat disappointed that he wont have the option of going back to Berenice again, but I shall remain a loyal and regular customer.JamesQueen Creek, AZ

I recently went to the Chandler Dolce location to check out the facility. I wanted to know what the atmosphere was like before I booked my wedding party's hair appointments there. Well, the atmosphere is terrific! They really make you feel special. I got a spa pedicure and loved every second of it! I will definitely be using their services for my wedding day, and I can't wait! I am going back to my hometown for a Grade School Reunion next week. I wanted to look super trendy so I took in a picture of exactly what I wanted, The hair cut was a good haircut if you wanted a butch but it didn't look anything like the picture. It was far too short and didn't have any resemblence to the picture - can't get even the tiniest of hairbrushes under the side hair. I thought by paying top dollar for a haircut, I'd get top dollar results - not so. The staff was super nice and friendly just a much too short haircut which didn't remotely look like the picture that fell flat like an egg 5 minutes after I walked out their door. I now dread going to my reunion.

I have been going to Dolce for services for the past 5 years. The atmosphere is exquisite and the staff is friendly and professional. After experiencing such great services, Dolce has “spoiled” me! I now have very high expectations of any service that I receive…whether it be a full highlight and cut, massage, waxing, or a pedicure. I have been consistently disappointed when choosing to get these services at places other than Dolce. Although Dolce may seem pricey at times, it is worth every penny to be fully satisfied. I absolutely love the online booking which makes it convenient to book appointments. Plus, the coupons they send me and have online are an added bonus!!!

I went to Lauren at first because my friend had a coupon. She did a great job - eventhough everyone said I shouldn't go to a level one for the style of haircut I wanted to get (went from LONG LONG hair to an A cut) but she did AMAZING! I tried to get my cut touched up at another (less expensive - Flair) salon and they completely ruined my hair. I was very upset and waited a month before I went back to Lauren to have her fix it. She was so super nice to me and fixed my cut FOR FREE! She is amazing! SEE LAUREN!!Pros: Lauren is the BEST stylist in the city!

Before booking my first appointment I asked the receptionist for her recommendation for a stylist known for long/layered looks and was referred to a stylist that gave me exactly what I was looking for. I have never had a better cut and my stylist gave me the best blow-out of my life! The overall ambiance at Dolce Salon and Spa is relaxing, luxurious, and fun. From the moment I walked through the salon doors I was greeted with friendly faces and definitely received first class treatment through the entirety of my visit. Although the stylist will recommend products for you, they are left in a "bucket" at check-out and you are never pressured to purchase anything. I will be back to the Dolce Salon & Spa at the Borgata for years and styles to come!

I have been going to Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler for several years now and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality salon/spa experience. I have gotten hair cuts, pedicures, massages, body treatments, waxing, etc. Without a doubt, I have a better experience at Dolce than any other salon. The service I get most often at Dolce is the Swedish massage. If I am looking for a special treat, I will get the combo massage. It is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. Also, I have never had a bad hair cut and my brows always look great. Client Coordinator's are generally helpful and the professionals are always thorough with their work. Also, be sure to sign up for their VIP list! You will get great deals in the mail that make spoiling yourself irresistible.

I have been going to Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler for about 4 years now and I have never had bad service. The staff is always nice and accommodating. I have had several services there and cannot complain about any of them. I was getting ready to go to Mexico and decided to get a Bikini wax for the first time. I was a little nervous and afraid that it would be painful. I told the technician it was my first time and she not only explained each step to me but took her time. It was a pretty painless experience. Dolce is a great salon and I will always go back for any services I need!

on 5/9/09 I went back to Dolce and Wow! This is the second time I have used Dolce Salon and Spa and I must say it is definitely the best in town. My wife and I treated ourselves to a one-hour companion massage and it was incredible. We chose the combination massage so we could get an idea of the different types of massage available. My favorites were the swedish traditional parts and the hot stone therapies. My therapist, Maria, was very professional and also very personal in her approach and made sure to go over my areas of concern and where I wanted her to focus during the session. She should be rewarded for her skill, demeanor and technique. I would highly recommend anyone with a painful or stiff back to try the stone-based therapies as they really loosen and work out the soreness. I have another appointment set this week and can't wait!

The spa pedicures at Dolce are the best! Every aspect of the treatment is relaxing and leaves my skin so soft. Allison at Chandler does the best pedicure and always finishes with the perfect polish. My pedicure always lasts for weeks but I find myself going back before the polish has even chipped because I want the experience! The massage chairs are super comfortable and almost put me to sleep every time. I highly recommend a spa pedicure at Dolce as the perfect end to a long work week or day of shopping with friends.

Dolce is without a doubt the best salon/spa I have ever been to. I have been going to Dolce for 4+ years and not once have had a bad experience. In fact I just went today, got my eyebrows done by Naveea (please excuse my spelling), and my hair done by Carol. Both did phenomenal work. As for the service at the front desk, I thought they were more than accommodating, and made sure to exceed all of my needs. I just love the whole atmosphere at Dolce, from the waterfall wall to the blue lighting, if you need a day to unwind and be pampered, Dolce is the place.

I have had an absolutely amazing experience at Dolce Salon & Spa in Chandler, Az. Both times that I went there for a pedicure. Last november I participated in the Breast Cancer 3-day walk. As a result, a callus formed on the back of my heal. I went to one of the asian places to have it fixed but that made it worse. Dolce did an excellent job of repairing my feet and they give the best foot massages in the world. I highly suggest making an appt. with Dolce today. -April Schacherbauer

I have been going to Dolce for about 7 years now. They offer wonderful service each and every time. From the moment you step in the front door to the moment you leave. Every single person that has provided a service has been exceptional! I had my entire wedding party do their nails and pedi's there and they all loved it! We rented the private room and they made sure to treat us like royalty. Some of my bridesmaids wanted to add services (the same day) and they took care of them with no problems at all! Keep up the wonderful work! I will be customer for life!

I am no stranger to spa treatments, so when I say that Dolce is the best by FAR, I truely mean it. About a year ago I took a cruise in search of some major relaxation time, but my stress level and blood pressure jumped when I discovered the prices of the spa on board. I did win a free treatment, but the service was HORRIBLE and I can't tell you how happy I was that I did not have to pay the bill. I am SO much more impressed with Dolce's spa treatments. They are much more reasonably priced and the service is outstanding! My massage relieved pain from my back injury and I am so thankful my masseuse introduced me to the amazing product that is Biofreeze. I will most certainly be going back soon! You will NOT be disappointed!

I highly recommend Dolce Salon! I received a giftcard for Christmas and was hesistant to use it, since going to a new hairstylist can be nervewracking. The place was beautiful. The stylist were very friendly. My stylist, Lexi, really listened to what I wanted done with my hair and did a wonderful job. This is probably the best haircut I have ever received. I have got so much confidence in Lexi's abilities that I am going to go back for a more drastic cut

I have heard disappointing things about prenatal massages in the past but Dolce in Chandler made my first experience a good one. I love massages and nothing sounds better than one while I am pregnant. Although I couldn't get my usual deep tissue, Dee still managed to leave me feeling like a different person. It is worth every penny. Pregnant women- take a load off and treat yourself. You will be glad you did!

Dolce offered special pricing on massages at the beginning of the year. I took advantage of the Fiji Stone massage. It was wonderful! The therapist, Victoria, is a caring professional and paid attention to provide an excellent massage. I've scheduled several massages since and have had a great experience each time. I have used Dolce Salon and Day Spa (Chandler) for the past 4 years. It seems that every visit is better than the last. If you feel like pampering yourself for the day without spending too much money, try the Spa Breather Package. It�s only $240 for a massage, spa pedicure, custom facial, and a light lunch. I enjoyed mine so much that I return once a month for the custom facial, and several times a year for the entire package. It is the best spa deal that I have found, yet it doesn�t feel like a �bargain spa day�. Instead, you feel completely pampered and rested.

Dolce is a spa that has everything to offer all in one. The staff is highly trained and truly is based on making sure you are highly satisfied with everything from hair to spa. They have a touch for detail and know how to make you feel welcome and at ease. I have been going to their salon for almost 2 years now and am constantly impressed. They also host many charity events that I have attended and it makes me feel that much better about their company and my choice to receive services there. I have been to many salon and spas around the valley and I now use Dolce for my facials, massage, hair cut and color, and now custom make up. I recommend them constantly and take my girlfriends and family when they visit. They never disappoint.

I love going to Dolce because the experience there is completely unique. You are treated very nicely and respectfully. Helpful advice is given at all visits and the customer service is great. I've been there for a massage twice and I wish I could go every week but unfortunately I couldn't afford that. I love getting pedicures and manicures there as well. I would recommend Dolce to anyone and feel confident that I'm guaranteeing a great experience.

I visited Dolce Salon and Spa a few months ago (Feb?) and became a convert within 10 minutes. Being pretty much just out of college and therefore extremely strapped for cash, I've been forced to go to budget salons (Fantastic Sam's, Great Clips, etc..) for always was turned into inevitably crappy cuts. Though their prices were more in my affordability range, I can't remember a time I left feeling good about how I looked--many of those visits ended in tears streaming down my face on the drive home--but still I went because what choice did I have? Until one visit a few months back. I again went to some cheap place and instead of getting the so-so haircut I expected, I WAS MASSACRED! It literally looked like someone took a weedwhipper to my head. I am so happy to finally find the hair stylist that I have spent the last year looking for. We moved to Chandler 1 year ago, leaving behind a beloved hairstylist. After visitng Dolce today, I believe that I have found a stylist that I can stay with for many years. Abby did a phenomenal job. She truly listened to what I wanted done with my hair and actually accomplished just that. She was very attentive and easy to talk to. All of the staff was very accomodating and made me feel like I was the only the customer in the salon. Kudos Dolce on a job well done!

I recently had both a cut/style as well as eyebrow reshaping done atthe Scottsdale location and I have to say my services were excellent. My stylist, Celia, was amazing and knew exactly what I wanted, and even gave me some pointers on improving my hair style, as well as styling techniques. The lady who did my waxing, Glo, was also very friendly and did an amazing job. She spoke about all the products and what they did, as well as suggested other services which might benefit me in the future. As always in the end, the front desk staff were helpful and courteous and did their best to help me get out in a timely manner. I recommend Dolce to all my friends and know that if you want quality work this is the place to come!

High prices, fancy attitude, poor service by smilepeace - 02/10/2009
This salon has the appearance of a high quality, fancy salon but it is nothing but otherwise. I have known several people dissatisfied with the nasty, arrogant, stuck up, racists attitudes that swarm Dolce. I knew someone who previously worked here and it was terrible. She was older than most of them and she was pretty much kept out of the loop on everything and ostracized; needless to say she eventually quit. I bought two g/c for my employees to show appreciation for their hard work. When my employee went in for nail service, they were very rude and told her to go back to her "chinese salon" and get her nails taken off then come back to Dolce for a full set. My employee was so offended. Why did they just assume she had previously gone to a "chinese salon"? Was it the way she looked? She thought they were very racists and judged her by her looks. I called to complain and they acted like it was no big deal and nothing ever came of it. High prices not high class.

It's always a surprise that this place gets any good reviews. I don't mind paying a high price for good quality and service. That they don't do. They provide the Scottsdale attitude with high prices and heavy sales techniques and Cost cutter haircuts. After waiting in a long line to check out, you are presented with a basket of over priced accessories and if you don't want them (just a simple no thanks) the front desk acts disgusted. Their pedicures are so-so (got two as gift certificates), waxing you can do better at home, and hair is so-so.

It's really, really bad. Don't get sold by the marketing. I'd recommend Rolf's for a better service, quality and atmosphere.

Dolce is beautifully decorated, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the treatments are out of this world. A day of body treatments is heavenly. One drawback is that they don't have shower facilities so if you want to get several body treatments then get your hair and make up done to go out for a special night it is tricky.

this salon is not very welcoming and the stylist I saw did not do what I requested. I even gave them a second chance, but both times the stylist who was a supposed level 3 did not listen and actually said she did not "do" the type of hair cut I wanted. Dissapointing for the amount of money they charge. I will not be back.
