Not surprised to see all the negative feedback on Danny Batterbee of DLB Flooring, Orlando, FL. He was a very good salesman, and personable, not to mention i found out we were both from Michigan while talking. He gave me what i thought was a good deal on some hardwood and i ordered more than i needed just in case i had some bad boards because Danny said it would be NO PROBLEM taking returns. Long story short, i had 4 boxes of returns for a total of $235. I returned it to the distributor for him no less! Then came the excuses about recieving the money, "I will recieve a check from the distributor", "oh, they had the wrong address", "Come down and ill give you cash", NOT THERE when we were supposed to meet, "Let me send you a check", BLAHBLAHBLAH.

I am a remodeling contractor and could have sent many people/jobs his way, so if he will screw me, he will screw ANYONE!! I even sent him a text letting him know i was going to post this review and gave him a chance to make it right. He says " I try and make it right with everyone and i cant please everyone" Well Danny you can please people. Be a man of your word, you say youre giving a return and sending a check, SEND IT. You mess up, OWN IT AND MAKE IT RIGHT. Some people have morals and ethics and he clearly does not.

me and my husband went to dlbs flooring source and we had a perfect time there.. the price was more then fair and the service was excellent...



these people on here are just probably other flooring stores.. I strongly suggest people to use dlb flooring source.. we did and the job was done on time and we were very happy with the job..

We purchased 1000 Square Feet of Robbins 1st Quality wood Flooring from DLB flooring. We were delivered 1000 square feet of Timberlake UNWARRANTED wood flloring which was obviosly factory seconds (maybe factory 3rd quality) wood flooring. Danny Battersby told us that factory made a mistake and he would fix the problem. We returned the wood to Mr. Battersby with the promise of receiving a full refund. It is now 2 months later and still no refund. We have contacted the police. The detective told us that this is not something the state attorney wants them to pursue but called Mr. Battersby anyway. Mr. Battersby told the Detective that this was a mistake and he would make sure the refund was processed. That was 1 month ago. DANNY BATTERSBY IS A CROOK. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DLB FLOORING.

"After five years of saving and doing research, we decided to replace our carpeting with laminate flooring by Armstrong. It was expensive but came with a warranty, and we fell in love with it. We shopped all over Orlando for 1,000 square feet in our price range and chose DLB Flooring owned by Danny Batterbee. The day he delivered our flooring it was in boxes labeled Sonitex, which we found is an inexpensive laminate made in China. Danny assured us he ordered the flooring from Armstrong directly. We contacted Armstrong and they told us their flooring always comes in Armstrong boxes with their name labeled on the back of each board. Our receipt from DLB states that we purchased Armstrong flooring, and Danny still claims that's what he sold us. Now we're stuck with 1,000 square feet of flooring without a warranty."Daniel batterbee is notorious for bating and switching people. I have taken this company to court and won! this company is now in comtempt of court . They are suppose to respond to a court order by jan 2010 . this has been go on for almost one year and not settle yet.MR Batterbee is the one that I have been dealing with. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THIS COMPANY OR MR BATTERBEE SAYS!!!!

The most unprofessional business we have ever worked with. They refuse to return calls and have left our house unfinished! Our home is in an unsafe condition with two young boys. There is not another side to this story. They are paid in full and refuse to return to work or return calls. You can chance it if you want to but I wish I would have seen this first before ever daring to do business with these crooks. I found several lawsuits online for similar instances. If you don't believe me, search for yourself. You will even find reports of it in the Orlando Sentinel. Go to Dear Greg.

1 year later I still dont have the wood flooring and this one man shop still preys on people paying him upfront for the perfect flooring and then keeping their hard earned money knowing there's not much they will do. It is difficult to see this happen, but dishonest business persons will do what they have to do in bad economic conditions. Pay a little more and be guaranteed to get your wood flooring.



If you still dont believe me, please go down to Orango County Courthouse and look up lawsuits on this company and you will find several where he has lost.

I RECENTLY VISITED THIS STORE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE SEVICE AND PRICE THAT I BOUGHT ABOUT 1200SQ.F OF LAMINATE FROM DLB'S FLOORING.. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT THERE.. DLB flooring has stolen 7500 dollars from my business partner and I. He never delivered the flooring he was supposed to and had a million excuses for the refund that he never sent to our credit card company. he is a crook

Do not do business with this guy! He truly is a hack. We had been shopping around for Armstrong floors and slick DLB came up with an out of this world price. We supposedly only had a week to take advantage of this great offer from Armstrong. He showed us supposed dealer prices from other vendors and explained how everyone was ripping customers off. We had to write a check, since his Credit Card machine was conveniently out of service (Suntrust somehow could never get anyone to come out and look at it). He sold us fake Armstrong floors and lied to my face three different times when I asked him if they truly were Armstrong brand (they came in unmarked boxes). Now we're stuck with $5k worth of junk, with no chargeback rights from Visa. It doesn't make sense to get an attorney at this point since it wouldn't be cost-efficient. He is a dirty SOB and will get what's coming to him. Stay away from DLB Flooring and Danny Batterbee.

It sounds like he baited and switched you!!! That is against the law!!

The first tile ordered and the second tile ordered were the wrong tiles, but had second delivery installed as was tired of the 2-3 weeks wait at the Holidays.######Mr. Batterbee informed me that I had an $85 refund due for the wrong tile and inconvenience, etc. Almost a month later, after numerous excuses why the check was never available, on 12/27/08, a check for $50 was issued on the DLB account at SunTrust Bank, which turned out to be NSF on a closed account. Mr. B. vigorously denied he had issued a 'rubber check', but nonetheless, has not made good on it to date, 1/8/09.######Please note that the phone number above has been disconnected; Mr. B. uses a cell phone now.######Care should be taken when dealing with him.

This place is a "rip off" , Very unprofessional . Not organized either. Poor service ..Very over charged .The owner (I think) was talking on his phone the entire time i was in there . You get better service and prices at Home Depot
