David, in case you forgot what you stated you'd do

From: DJ Home Enterprises Date: Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 10:43 AMSubject: RE: DJ EnterprisesI received the email reflecting the address to return the funds but there are a couple of issues to address before I can do that.In returning the money, I must first deduct my costs for receiving the money (credit card transaction fee) and the 3 ½ hours planning I have on the books after you accepted the estimate and contract. These two items are $140 for the credit card transaction fee and $262.50 for planning layout. I will agree not to charge for canceling a contract in process. I simply need to know how these charges will be handles or I can simply deduct them from the deposit. Please advise at your earliest convenience.David PerschbacherDJ Home Enterpriseswww.djhomeenterprises.comHomewww.djhomeenterprises.comHandyman Trade Service

In case I wasn't successful posting this the first time: This company gets NO STARS from me, but this site doesn't allow me that option. During the summer, I wrote several grants to have my master bathroom remodeled, according to ADA standards. DJ Home Enterprises, Inc. was chosen by a nonprofit to do the work because he had the lowest bid. But due to previous experiences and his bad reputation, I didn't trust him to do anything in my home. Therefore, I asked that he return the $5k deposit to organization so I could get another contractor to do the work. He agreed to do it, yet till this day (a month later), he hasn't and the organization can't get ahold of him now. Until that's returned, I can not have the bathroom remodeled to accommodate my disabilities. Great way to support a recently retired combat veteran.

Folks, please read my notes to this thieving contractor.

First let me say that I am not...

First let me say that I am not a professional. However, I have renovated 2 houses to include plumbing, electrical, drywall and flooring, 2 commercial buildings and built a 7,000 square foot commercial building all without the aid of a contractor. In my experience, DJ Home Enterprises was the worst sub contractor/contractor I have ever dealt with. His work was substandard and most of his workers had no regard they were working in a home. They used my toilet in the house and left it filthy. They left cigarettes, soda cups, ect everywhere in the yard and on the deck. Mr. Pershbacher blamed my painters, electrician or plumber. However in the previous renovations I have done, I used my other subs and they never left a job site in that manner. Much of the drywall and trim his crew installed had to be redone or repaired.

He ask me to give him $8,000 to start the job. After I fired him, I ask him to finalize my bill. He charged me for work that was not complete or so badly done it had to be repaired or redone. The biggest problem with my bill was that charged me $4,600 for flooring that was never installed. To repair or redo what his crew messed up has cost me thousands. His crew also used my old cabinets that I had sold as work benches damaging them. They left their construction trash everywhere on a daily basis always blaming it on the other contractors even though it was obviously drywall. At this time, Mr. Perschbacher has not refunded my money for flooring that was never received. He told me posting a negative review and photos was beneath me and I should just move on.
