4 of 5 no shows. The once they came it was a late pick up with the wrong destination. I'm handicapped too.

Today, I needed a taxi to drive me to retrieve my car. I would definitely call and request my driver again. My taxi driver was AWESOME. Probably one of the kindest, warm hearted, down-to-earth, genuine person with great conversation, super safe driver and true hero (a NYPD 911 responder). He truly cared that I got to my destination. Thank you, John! You really did make my day. God Bless!

I have used many taxi services and absolutely LOVE this company the best! I do not trust any other company. I had left my cell phone in another company's taxi before and the driver made me pay $40 to get it back from her!! I have not once had a problem with Discount Cab and can always rely on them for being on time for reserved call ahead times. Also my 4 year old loves the green color. He spots them out all the time while on the road!

when I was having a hard time finding a job I drove past Discount Cab, I was nervous at first because I was new to the area, and there was not many women that would apply or make it in the industry, I was there for a little over 5 yrs and I would still be there if I hadn't moved to another state, not only are they a great company to drive for they are great for transportation, I recommend them to any one that goes there and I now have the customers I picked up on a regular bases there as my customers where I am driving now...they wish I was back in Phoenix but it is to HOT and I only come through when we are checking up on my brother in laws rental house...Sure miss everyone there though...next time I am there I am going to stop by and say HELLO

I cannot understand how anyone can give this cab company a bad review. After having knee surgery I could not drive and used DC to get to and from wherever. They were extremely prompt, courteous, and helpful. The online booking is the best way to go.

What a great driver & ride experience ona busy peak travel time during Labor Day 2012. Our experience was delightful; as he was courteous and on-time (5 Minutes early) at 4:55 A.M. from the Arcadia -Scottsdale district. The Discount Taxi assigned driver was very helpful with our luggage and he also had a child car seat availalbe for the ride to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.He actually got out to greet us with a smile, drove us safely to the airport and gave us curbside service with some assistance ensuring the stroller and luggage were carefully placed on the curbside.Q: How many other drivers would ask politely ask if you have your phone chargers and identification prior to leaving home?He did give me handwritten receipt for the cash I paid. His car # was 1241 in a Toyota Prius. I think his name was Bill or Phill.In the end, wished we would have gotten his mobile number for future departures & reservations. As we can only hope our next driver is as friendly and helpful.Again to the driver: "Thank you for your service and your past military service to our country as well."Sincerely,Nancy Evans & Family

I have never been so appalled by a company's customer service. They failed to show up for two different scheduled pick up's and left me driving myself to the airport and paying $125 in parking. They have zero care if you get to where you need to be and they cannot be trusted. I get that things happen and maybe one time something could slip through the cracks but two times both on airport trips is where I say enough. If what you have to do is important don't ever call them cause chances are they will not show up. I will never use this company and if you have used them I recommend replacing their number with a useful company that knows what their doing and how to accurately do their job.

Neighbor regularly uses their service. Yesterday the driver parked the cab directly in front of my driveway. I waited for a moment, the cab driver didn't move. I pulled closer behind the cab. Nothing. I opened the garage door. Nothing. I honked the horn. Nothing. I got out and told her she needed to move. I wast told that I was rude and she would move when she was done. She did eventually move the cab - the one that she had parked illegally IN my driveway.I contacted Discount Cab so that they would be aware and asked for some assurance that cab driver would not park illegally in front of driveway - you know, obey the law. Guess what? Nothing. No reply, no acknowledgement. I don't know if all the cab drivers and management are completely incompetent and rude, but I certainly will never use Discount Cab.

Picked up at Toyota and delivered back to Toyota; 2 unique rides. I found the drivers to be friendly and professional. Cost was quite low compared to other cab companies. I will definitely use Discount Cab again.

I may not have used cabs very much in Phoenix, but I do know that Discount Cab provides excellent service. I would recommend this taxi service to anyone who needs to get to where he/she needs to be, and quickly too. The drivers I have had have always been very friendly, clean, and efficient. And as for the comment about the drivers being smelly: Discount Cab cannot control the personal hygiene of their drivers, because they are independent contractors. The best they can do is, really, just ask them to be a little more clean. That's also the case in terms of timliness. If the driver is slow, there really isn't much that Discount Cab can do.

My client was in from texas and we were quoted one price and charged double that amount from Mesa A to Mesa Gateway, AZ!The owner said the person who stated the price didn't write it down so there was no way of knowing !!!! Basically called us liars even though I had girl's name and time.

I have called them several times. The drivers have been on time or a few minutes early. The cabs were clean and they got me safely to my destination. What more can you ask? I have them on my cell phone now so I can call them quickly. Satisfied customer

Do not use! They kept telling us that a cab was out front and providing us curtsy calls, 5 times! They made us 2 hours late to a fund raiser. We called another company that was on time. I think its a scam. They tell you ten to twenty minutes for your cab and they know that is not possible. When you call in they say they were there and tried calling us. They knew that they could not provide the service on time yet try to keep the business by stalling you and making excuses. Total joke

I had horrible service from a cab driver, so I left her no tip. I paid with a credit card and the driver handed me a receipt. I had to walk about 200 yds to my destination (because the driver took me to the wrong spot) and about 150 yds later the driver pulls up next to me and says my card was declined. She demanded I pay her cash. I wasn't about to give her cash, because 1) I had a receipt 2) I knew my card wouldn't have been declined 3) She was obviously trying to hustle me because I left her no tip (get cash from me then still run the card) 4) I didn't have any cash on me. Needless to say she called the cops and of course Scottsdale PD didn't care that I had a receipt and arrested me me for 'Theft of Services'. The officer's opinion was 'I'll let the judge figure it out'. I called my credit card company right after I was released from jail, they told me she never even ran the card! All this just because I didn't leave her a tip on a 12$ tab. The company's response to me was 'our dri

The taxi ride itself was great ... once they actually showed up.I made arrangements to be picked up at a designated hour in front of a local Fry's Grocery and waited half hour past the designated time before calling the dispatcher to find out where the cab was. She said she would put it through again ... waited another 20 minutes and called again. Was told someone else got my cab but another was on the way. They eventually did show up and I had waited close to 50 minutes at nightby myself, much of that time in front of a store that had already closed. It was quite uncomfortable. Like I say, once the taxi arrived, the ride was good, but I would think twice about using them again.

I have taken Discount Cab many times and now use them exclusively. They are by far the best in town. Now don't get me wrong, they aren't perfect, but when they say 5-20 minutes, the cab will arrive within that time frame 95% of the time. They have many more cabs on the road than any other company and this makes sense that they would be able to offer better times. As to the person that said that their cabs were smelly and in disrepair, that is absoloute BS. Their cabs are CONSISENTLY clean and in very good condition. Way better than other cab companies. In general their drivers are knowledable and friendly too. They obviously have high standards and take their business seriously. Sometimes one of their cabs will be late but it is only at times when you would expect business to be brisk and certainly sometimes demand exceeds supply. In these times though I am always told that they are busy and the time quotations are higher.

I drove for Discount for about 6 months. Their advertisements say "Business is Booming!" What a bunch of B.S. "$100. Cash Daily" Hogwash!!! I'd maybe take home about $80 -90.00 one day, then for the next couple about $30-40.00! I'd be lucky to bring home a total $250.00 a week!! This market is flooded with way too many taxi cabs on the road. This company just needs to stop recruiting for about 6 months - a year. The also have dispatchers that don't have typing skills (a 5th grader would have better spelling than some of them)or know an area (if I only had $50.00 for every time I was sent to a wrong address). Looking for a job driving cab? Take my advice; Don't do it!

I had good service. My driver, Steve, avoided the traffic jams and got me to my appointment with time to space. I would highly recommend Discount Cabs if you absolutely have to get there on time. (I did leave enought time to take buses but my bus never showed up.)

I tried to set up a shuttle to airport with Discount Cab but unfortunately their service is also discounted. After 15 minutes the rep finally got it right, I thought, but when I called back and confirm there was no reservation on file............BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY.......

Living in Queen Creek in a new area not easy to find, the driver called me direct because I always request a call when I book a car. I knew he was on his way. I travel often and use private sedans if family can not take me to the airport. I was nervous about hiring a cab but I had no choice due to short notice travel. I did get good service from discount.
