Love the hot green chili, but the Shrimp Cocktails are my favorite! Well, maybe my favorite is the house margarita - potent and tasty. Beautiful atmosphere! I was surprised by such a lovely, inviting spacious restaurant when I first visited. Great Happy Hour with snap-your-fingers rock and roll music - F U N ! ! !

Our first experience

by Rae McCall , 01/29/2011

We had the opportunity to eat at Diego's today and we were very impressed. To begin with, our table was just a little wobble and I mean a very little. The owner saw us testing the table for stability and immediately came over an corrected the problem. This was very impressive to us, how often have you been seated at a wobbly table and have to beg for someone's attention to get the table corrected? The food was awesome, the salsa was fresh as were the chips. We comment on the fresh salsa and later found out they make their own. They grow their own peppers and tomatoes. They plan to add salsa dancing classes in a month or so.This will be my favorite haunt, it is accessible by bus and light rail into downtown Denver, I can drink all I want and ride the bus back home.Put this on your list of restaurants to experience.
