Dick is a good guy people need to learn how to be patient when it rains you cannot climb a tree when it's raining or it's wet the reason why I know because I am climber my name is I do a good job taking down big trees and trimming trees so if you want your tree cut safely in your ground cleaned up good call Dick Tree Service and be patient we will get to you

I had Dick come out and cut down a huge tree in my front yard. They did a great job cutting it down and cleaning up the mess. They didnt leave any wood behind and even did a good job at cleaning up the sawdust in my grass.

I had a Poulan Chain Saw that would not start. I took it to Dicks and not only did he start it, he showed me how to start a flooded motor, then showed me how to start it cold, then pointed out to me my cheap chain purchased from menards had a skip-tooth missing to make them cheaper to sell new. He asked me if the chain cutting was hard and dull. I told him it was. To fix the dull chain problem, he sold me a Grade A Chain for $16.00 mounted it, and said it should saw sharper and quicker than ever. The same skip-tooth chain at Menards cost me $12 and I was glad to pay $4.00 for a better chain. He showed me how the cheaper ski-tooth chains have a tooth missing in the chain link ... incredible. He is a good old guy.

I had a very large Mulberry tree that was in a very difficult spot. It needed to be cut all the way down because it was growing into the electrical lines. Dick handled the electric company coming out and dropping the lines and re-hanging them. He also took care of numerous other trees on my property that needed pruning and removal. Everything was picked up and left clean. He definitely knows what he is doing. I am writing this review because people are quick to write a negative review but forget to give praise when they have a positive experience. I felt his company deserves great praise for the work that was done. I am very satisfied!

Have used Dicks Tree Sevice twice. Once for a trimming job, another for a risky job to take down a 70+ foot elm that was leaning into another tree towards my house. Very satisfied both times, will use again.

I called after my tree had been struck by lightning to get an estimate. They said he would be out as soon as he could. Eight hours later I still hadn't heard anything, so I called them back and was told that he was going to jobs that were guaranteeing service and there was no telling when he would be there. I called other places and was able to get it taken care of the next morning. 36 hours after my initial call to Dick's he showed up and gave me a speech about "common curtesy" and wishing I had called to let him know it was done. He continued to be rude to me when I explained that I never got any calls about when he would show up. I can't rate their actual service, but their customer service and professionalism was nonexistent.

Oh, my -- disastrous! He cut down the wrong tree! An eighty year oak tree! This meant we lost two oak trees -- one naturally and one by Dick. That dramatically affected the value of our property. Just to make sure it was a really awful experience, he left the tree trunks laying in our yard for the winter! I found out this is a normal practice of his. Apparently he doesn't always have the resources or will to get the job done. So the theory I heard was that once the tree is cut down, its his to claim and to bill for. You can't call someone else in to get the job done. Coup of the whole experience -- he promised to replace the tree. One year later, he won't return our multiple calls and we have a deep, ugly hole in our yard. RUN FROM THIS GUY!

Dick runs a very clean ship. He and his crew know trees. He took down 5 trees and stumps and left no mess at all. Terrific to work with.Highly recommended!!

They cut down the wrong tree in the yard....what else is there to say
