This place needs help by Noni - 09/29/2009We picked Devlin's because it was conveniently located not far from our house. Our neighbors daughter went there and seemed to be happy. When my grandson first started going he was in with the younger children and was very happy. When he was moved over to the pre-school things changed. When asking about his day I would get one word answers. The final day he attended I had dropped him off in the morning. As soon as we were in the door it was like someone had flipped a switch, he was in survival mode. He tuned out and didn't hear anyone talking to him. This bothered me so much that 3 hours later I picked him up. When I walked out onto the playground I found the children playing in cardboard boxes and their teacher on her cell phone. She looked scared when she saw me. I had to physically go up and touch my grandson to get his attention. The look I got from him was: thank god you're here. He did not go back.
