Ed Detlie has represented injured and disabled workers since 1982, now with offices in Ottumwa, Iowa and Dexter, Iowa. He represents clients from Southeast Iowa and West Central Iowa, as well as clients from Northeast Missouri. He represents other clients in other States who have been injured in Iowa.
He served as President of the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers from 2004 to 2005, served on the Workers' Compensation Commissioner's Advisory Committee as Symposium Chair in 2009, and is an advisor to LexisNexis Legal Publishing on Social Security software and content, as well as serving on the LexisNexis Larson National Workers' Compensation Advisory Board. He also publishes a blog on Iowa Workers' Compensation issues.
Ed Detlie has spoken in lawyer training conferences on Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disabiilty, and has chaired and planned seminars on Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability.
