Beware- this is a get 'em in and back out the door as soon as possible kind of office. Curtains separate the "rooms" and while I liked Dr. Tieg, our experience there was less than desirable. Being there felt so awkward, I wasn't offered a chair to sit in with my sons. I had to ask if I could sit down and then push past equipment to get to the folding chair. The child screaming and crying further down during a procedure the row scared my boys. My 7 year old cried on the way home. I'm not sure how to take them back in - or if I even should.

I have a fear of the dentist mainly with the needles. This was one of the best experiences I have had. The dentist I had was Dr. Shetty. He is very kind, understanding and explains everything. I would recommand this place to anyone.

I took 3 of my kids there for a cleaning. the asst was making all sorts of remarks about their teeth and so on. I thought their job was to clean and educate people. Instead they can't keep their opinions to themselves. the staff here is very unprofessional I have met 4 different dental asst and all are the same. I'm wondering how they were taught in school.

It was my first time to the Smile Center in Savage and I knew that they offered a free exam and x-ray with a cleaning when I made the appointment. Today I went in and waiting for 45 min to be seen by someone. Then after my name got called the hygienist asked me what I was there for and I said cleaning with the free exam and x-rays. She tried to sell me on their "plan", but I knew what I budgeted for & since I said I just wanted the cleaning with the coupon, she then told me that the dentist wouldn't see me with that coupon. So I said fine and I left. What a joke!! I should have been told that at the time of making the appointment. I would say if you are considering going there to think twice!

IF I could rate no stars, I would.I went in with a toothache. Just like the other reviewer, I was told a cost and it far exceeded the cost they told me it was. That wasn't even the bad part. They decided instantly that I needed a root canal. I was getting the root canal within fifteen minutes of coming in. It was with a dentist I had never even seen before. He does this work in about ten minutes and when it was over, the nurse comes in and tells me that he broke off a drill bit in my tooth and I would have to have someone with better equipment take it out. They would not help with the cost, would not do anything at all, and the dentist never even came in to explain this to me. The explanation came from a nurse. I never saw the dentist again. He didn't even have the courage to come in and tell me he made a mistake. These gutless people sent me to a specialist and I am still paying off the $1,800 it cost me to fix this.This is the WORST of dentistry. Yes, they take everyone's

I was a new customer to the Smile Center. Proceeded to get xrays and cleaning. Inquired about a nightguard. I was not certain about my coverage, they offered to call my insurance and check for me. At this point, I informed them I was not interested if I wasn't covered. I was told that it was indeed covered at 80 percent. Based on that I decided to get the nightguard. Coverage was later declined. They refused to help me due to an "estimate" clause. Never mind the fact no one informed me of this or that it was subject to change. They were unwilling to help or make any arrangements. They cared little about the fact a new customer was unhappy and about to leave. Do yourself a favor, and go to a Dentist where they actually CARE about the customer and not making a few hundred bucks.

i had a broken tooth repaired, then i had a second broken tooth fixed. the first tooth broke off again. three weeks from original repair it broke again. they charged me for both repairs. shortly after that the second tooth broke again. i have since changed dentists.
