Went in for Free Consult (you get what you pay for I'm afraid). Had already seen an excellent thorough Dentist and was just looking for a more reasonable price for 3 crowns to be done. I was told I needed 7 crowns not 3 after a very cursory/brief exam. When checking out They wanted to schedule me for the Crowns as well as a Regular teeth cleaning which was ludicrous in view of the fact I had had the best cleaning I've ever had less than 3 weeks before. Also The receptionist would not give me the written estimate, I can only imagine because I would not sign what I found to be an iffy document/commitment ?, for the services to be done. Had no interest in committing to any Dental work in ths office. She was lovely and bubbly until I wasn't interested then a dramatic turn of attitude. I came back in moment later to be sure she had not put me into the system for dental insurance which would be $80 a year after the first free year. She "while I was geting my exam " supposedly signed me up. I want no further contact with this operation after this free exam and free x-rays.
They ruined my teeth!

I went here to get several fillings back in 2009 because they were the cheapest place around, supposedly and I had no dental insurance. I had to come back at least 3 different times to get the same crown shaved down because it was too high, they just don't take long enough with you to make sure it was perfect to start with. On the last time I went to get it filed down because it was still too high they had one of their dental assistants do it because the dentist was busy. Not okay! She must have did too much because about a year later I had to come back in because those same two teeth that were filled had more cavities. I brush well and often so I believe the only way that happened was because they shaved too much off my teeth and opened up an area for plaque to come in. I ended up having to get two crowns put on. Now 2 years later the same two teeth are bothering me again. My gums still have never healed after such trauma. I refuse to go to this place ever again and waste my money or my teeth. If you're thinking about going here, RUN FAST IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!

this is the second time I have had an emergency and been fit into the schedule immediately with no problems what-so-ever. The staff is courteous, efficient and very friendly. Dr. Wassef does excellent work and I wouldn't consider using another dentist. Prices--more reasonable than anyone else in town.
Double Dipping Charges?

As I left the office to pay and sign up for a payment plan, they told me I needed to pay in full. Mind you their website says they offer financing... They also told me that I had to pay 1000 dollars for a deep cleaning... with my insurance... which covers 80% of this procedure. The total amount of the procedure was about 1000....After I told them that wasn't right, they told me 668... I said that wasn't right again. After that, she lowered the price to 568, I told her that I signed a quote plus the anesthetic which they said was 180. The quote of 368 + 180 is 548. So that was close with taxes and all, but she didn't apply the payment I just made which was 84. So this wonderful secretary crossed the amount out and said I owe 455 now. After harassing me to pay it in full, she finally said she would sign me up for "payment plan" of 100 dollars a week or it would go to collections....I signed the paper just to get out of there. So now I'm just going to pay what my insurance says I have to pay which is 245 and also pay them 180 for the anesthtic which they told me while I was getting the work done.Keep in mind this was all happened while I my mouth was completely numb. This may make people think they are double dipping charges. I'll let people be the judge of my experience.
THE PRICES ARE VERY CONFUSING

I have to agree with the patients on these reviews, the pricing and the quotes are different. Make matters worse there is no time to talk about it. They do rush you and the place is not set up to handle more than two people....... this was a nightmare. I wish I could sue for my money back, the dentures that were put in for my mother, keep falling out, and they said they could only align them once.

I dont have insurance for my 3 kids and myself. I went to Deer Valley for a crown and some work for my son. Everyone was very nice and made sure my family was comfortable. They offered us drinks and were so friendly. They had us in and out in the time I needed to get my kids home. My crown was back when they said it would be and I haven't had any issues. I highly recommend this place.
WORST CROWNS EVER

Don't anyone EVER get crowns there!! They are so clueless on the entire process!! I went through such an ordeal and the end result is awful!! They are so unprofessional and rude and inexperienced. I filed a claim with the better business bureau. If everyone that has had a bad experience with them would file with the bbb then maybe they would be forced to go out of business.
Terrible customer service & inaccurate pricing

After my cleaning, I checked out and paid for my cleaning. While checking out, I ran into a very pushy, agressive, unsightly woman named Renee Hanley. She is the Front Office Coordinator for DVS. She pushed and pressured me to prepay for future services. Exhausted and in a rush to get to work, I was vulnerable and relented. All I really wanted to do was get out of there. As of right now I am fighting to have these charges removed from my credit card. I will not be returning. The stunning lack of apologies and Renee's annoying insistence to keep the charges as they are is a perfect example of customer service, that is to say the least, lacking. Prior to my run in with Renee, this dental office was in high regard for me. Now, it is not. I will not be returning to this dental office. Instead I will be going to another dental office closer to home. Finally, the inaccurate pricing with my cleaning was stark. The price sheet does not accurately reflect services rendered.

IF Want to be quoted one price and when the services are completed be charged double then this is the dental practice for you.
Worst Customer Service/ Over Promiss & Under Deliever

I receieved many quotes, I thought I did my homework. What started out fine, but when work was to start the price and time too complete was almost double. The doctor made mistakes, the staff was cold, no empathy for the sick,all about the money and nothing about the patients care. Please be carefull, keep all your receipts, and know exactly what your paying for. Dont give up, their are other dentists/practices that will help and save you time and money, without the pain.
