Decorah Covenant Church believes that the profound yearning of the human heart is for a relationship with God, a truth reflected in the words of the Psalmist who wrote, “My sould thirsts for the living God.” (Psalm 42.2a) We believe too, that this deep yearning is met in the person of Jesus Christ who said “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)

It is our desire at Decorah Covenant Church to be a people who know Christ as Savior and in turn wish to serve him as Lord. And so we are committed to gathering each week for worship, to daily prayer and Bible study, to supporting one another in fellowship, and to working together in meeting needs in our community and the world.

All are welcome as we explore together what it means to follow Jesus.

WORSHIP

What Should I Expect on a Sunday Morning?

- A place where all are welcome–whether you’ve been a Christian all of your life or you’re a seeker just beginning your journey.
- A place where people are messed up, but okay with that fact because they know they are forgiven by a loving God.
- A place filled with energy, life, and people from all walks of life.
- Lots of families, children, and college students.
- A community that desires to be all about loving God and others through following Christ, building community, and extending compassion.
- Worship and teaching that is God-centered yet relevant to contemporary life.
- A Worship Team that is not about performing but ushering a community into worship of the living God.
- A place where people feel comfortable wearing shorts and sandals or suits and ties.
