About Dealer Automotive Dealer Automotive Services, Inc ( DAS ) was founded in Minnesota in 1976 by brothers Dean and Stanley Rosoff as an aftermarket installation company specializing in the needs of automotive dealerships in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In the 33+ years that have followed, the Company has remained a family owned business and has grown substantially by expanding our sales area to include the general public and repair shops throughout the nation. We now have a 10 bay service shop and an extensive warehouse for electronic and a/c parts. DAS specializes in the installation and repair of automotive air conditioning systems for cars, light duty trucks, Street Rods and RV's. In addition, we also specialize in the repair and installation of heating and A/C systems in heavy-duty trucks, including on-site repair work with our mobile service technician. Our second area of expertise relates to automotive electronics. We specialize in the installation of remote starters ( including imports and manual transmissions ), navigation systems, mobile video, cruise controls, power windows, power door locks, alarm systems, keyless entries, heated seats and technological devices including iPOD interfaces and Bluetooth Handsfree phone kits. We also stock parts such as running boards, visors, window shades, bug shields, light covers, floor mats, step bars and compass mirrors. Our expertise has enabled us to become a leading Midwest distributor for all of the products we sell. Our products pertaining to air conditioning include complete installation kits, service tools, recovery and flushing machines, compressors, condensers, evaporator cores and accumulator/dryers. We pride ourselves on being the best source for hard to find air conditioning parts. Our electronics inventory is also very extensive and includes replacement remotes, antennas and harnesses. Our product lines and customer base have changed over the years, but one thing has remained the same: DAS is still a family business. Steven Rush is the current CEO and represents the second generation of ownership. He has been with DAS for over 20 years and his knowledge of our product lines is exceptional. Steve has developed personal relationships with our vendors such as AstroStart, Audiovox, Eclipse-Fujitsu Ten, SCS/Frigette, Rostra Precision Controls, Visteon, SPAL and Vintage Air, among others. His purchasing ability allows us to pass deep discounts on to our customers.
