Avoid at all costs!

For emergencies, staff will leave you waiting without telling you if there are insurance issues, but offer you a cleaning to be performed while you are there (I was in pain and needed an emergency root canal, a cleaning was the last thing on my mind!!!!). Once I was told the 4 hour delay was due to insurance, I explained that I was willing to pay cash. I just needed this tooth taken care of, I was really hurting and had to already cancel a day if MY patients to be treated. So I paid. And then theycalled me back up to the desk and said that ALL OF THE DENTISTS NOW TAKE A 1 1/2 HOUR LUNCH AT THE SAME TIME!!!!! What?! That's emergency care? Everyone left. Waiting area and those already IN THE CHAIR!!!!!! Once I am seen, yup I need root canal, make an appt. I wait for an hour in waiting room to check out and make an appt, I leave since I have already paid anyway.BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! I CALL THE NEXT DAY, TUESDAY AND MAKE appt for Friday, my day off. I get there and they've canceled it BC dentist is sick and offer me a pulpotomy, essentially part of root canal by another dentist now (requiring an additional visit, more $ for them) or a root canal in SIX HOURS. Mind you, my trip to the office is an HOUR round trip and I'm a single working motherof two. BUT let me tell you it wasn't as straightforward as this is, which is sad, BC one office staff person doesn't know what the other is doing and make no notes in your record. This is so bad that I am going to take my business elsewhere and pay out of pocket for the duplicate work. I wouldn't trust this place with my dog.

My experience with this office was awful. I had my first appt. in Oct. I specifially told the receptionist I needed a consultation for dentures. After x-Rays the dentist came in Dr. Abramson she looked at my x-rays looked in my mouth then asked me why I was there. I told her and she said I don't do dentures you need to schedule an appt with Dr. Lobono (she was in the room maybe 5 mins and was as rude as she could be) So I scheduled another appt. came back the following week...waited for an hour after my scheduled appt. I went up to the reception to see what the wait was and was told they were just getting ready for me. As I passed the reception I was stopped and told I had to pay 65.00 for a consultation, I did told the receptionist it would have been nice if someone had told me before. I saw Dr. Lobono he was very nice, he maybe spent 10 mins with me then said his assistant would work up a treatment plan. The girl who did the plan was rude the plan was a mess amounts crossed off and arrows written all over the paper. Total peace of garbage. They never sent the treatment plan to my ins co so I moved on with my life. Well last week I received an invoice in the mail for 55.00 NOTHING was written on the invice, just that I owed them 55.00I called and blew up on the receptionist, she was very apologetic she said it was a consultation fee for seeing Abramson!!!!! What a crock! That woman did Nothing!!!!! The receptionist said she would have the office manager call me.......it has been a week now and I still haven't received a call back...... Poorly managed Office. I have found a wonderful dental office who does not scam money from their patients or insurance companies for doing absolutely NOTHING!

Dr. Lobono & staff are superior & settle for nothing less than superior work. I have absolutely no complaints at all. My experience was excellent & I would recommend Day & Night Dental to everyone who needs dental care.
Deathly afraid of Dentists

I submitted an email request for new patient appt and they called me that afternoon, scheduled me in the next morning. The office staff is so friendly and helpful! Audrey the hygienist was very thorough and educational in everything she was doing. They scheduled me with the most pleasant, easy going Dr Salony!!! (my understanding is he usually gets the scaredy cats like me lol) he told me everything that needed to be done, prepared a plan with costs (including what my ins will pay and what my part will be AND what it would be without ins). Needed 3 roots extracted and was scheduled for the next morning - 3 root extractions, 15 mins!!!! he was AWESOME!!! I've never waited more than 10 mins for my appt. I always schedule 1st thing in the morning 830 and im always in really fast. Today's visit my daughter was scheduled at 830 and me at 9. He went ahead and had us both set up by 810am and started on me right way. Got the last of the fillings done and he discussed my options of bridge or partial... Dr Salony is extremely supportive and gave me all the facts (pros and cons) of both!! If you have fear of the dentist, fear no more!! He and his awesome assistants are the best I've ever come across from florida to philly!!
Rude and unprofessional dentist!

I brought my daughter as an ER patient because of her tootache. Waited for almost 2 hours For her to be seen and all I got from the dentist was his rude and nasty attitude towards me. He told me why did I let my daughter have a tooth decay. I do brush her teeth regularly and we came to his office to be treated not to be insulted! I am not saying that he should sugar coat his advice but he should not be rude either! I was humiliated in front of my kids. He didn't do anything at all to ease my daughter's toothache! I will never go back to this clinic ever again!

I went in very concerned over losing my front tooth that had broken off a year earlier and was patched up by a dentist who used to work here because I had no insurance at the time. Today I finally had to go back because it broke. Fortunately, I now have dental insurance and was able to get a temporary crown beautifully designed by Danielle. :) Thank you, Dr. Solano for saving my tooth and most importantly to me, my smile. Also a BIG THANK YOU to your billing clerk. She was terrific. I'm only sorry i didn't get her name.

I had a filling to come out taking some of my tooth with it some years back and i had been putting it off because it hadnt been a pain. I lately started feeling a lot of sensitivity so i went into a dentist office that was covered under my insurance network. I arrived there at 1:30 and was told that they couldnt fit me in which kind of made me upset because they didnt close until 7. So I went to day and night family dental they made sure i was informed of their policies and procedures up front, which I really appreciated. I did have to wait a while before someone could see me but thats a given when you don't have an appointment. I decided that i would go ahead and have both tooth 19 and tooth 31 removed so that i could prevent having to come back at a later time and go thru the healing process all over again. Tooth 19 is healing as it should but I have to go back tomorrow to have them check on tooth 31. The only thing I'd suggest would be for the manager to hire more help on the front end.

I came in on an emergency...my front partial broke and there was painful root exposure. The original could not be replaced, so I needed something new, and issues came up. She paused a moment, and figured it out so she could make it possible for me to smile again . She was gentle, and did. a lot of work! I can eat and smile again :-)
Front end manager

The front end manager is rude to the girls up front and my husband and I thought she was loud and disrespectful. The only time we saw her do anything besides belittle the ladies was when some man came around. We take it that is her boss. She is not friendly to the patients either. We thought this was very unprofessional. I don't think we will be back and plan on letting the Observer know that you all deserve a jeers instead of a cheers. The ladies in the back and the Doctors were friendly, but you can clearly see and feel the negative vibe up front! Really hope you get this under control.
