DO NOT EVER USE THIS AGENT... we were looking for our first home and the agent that delt with us was nice in the beginning and helped out alot but she was very very very hard to get ahold of... We called her and emailed her all the time with no responce. After her falsly telling us we could use a type of loan for a property we lost the chance to get the property and got stuck with a loan and our credit checked through our lender... after all that mess we decided we didnt want to go through that agency anymore. After we showed up at her office she started yelling at us and saying she deserved a second chance and refused to let us go of our contract which we had to wait til the end for. Extremely unprofessional and childish. We shouldve listened to everyone when they told us to not go through that agency. Do yourself a favor and save some money stress and time and go with a different agency.

My son rented one of their townhouses for school, Davis rented the other 3 rooms. Realtors would show up without notice and walk in all the time. My son was surprised several times in his underwear and once he was in the shower, they asked him to come out. We called and stated this must stop immediately!
The placed a person who was autistic in the rental. Not a problem, except for the constant badgering from him to the other tenants. "telling them, I'm calling the cops, are you 21?" Walking into other people's rooms, using items that did not belong to him, etc. he was also on medications, this put the other tenants in a bad spot. They were there for school, not to babysit. The family lived locally.
My son had enough and wanted out. Davis did move him to another unit. Things were fine until it was time to move out.
My son had rented a new apartment closer to school in early May, giving him time to move. I received a call from Barbara stating my son hadn't handed in his keys. I told her I was quite aware, his lease did not expire until 12noon that Sunday and everything will be ready. My son did break a window and hired a company to repair it. The landlord entered the property at 7am that morning and proceeded to paint and God knows what else. My son never had time to take his own photos, due to them entering the property unannounced, and my son was still the renter. Ashley, owner of the property told my son, it was one of the best kept apartments he's seen. When my son requested his security deposit back, we suddenly received a bill for about $1,000 dollars. Nothing was detailed or itemized for supposed damages. When I called Barbara told us to send our appeals in writing, as well as my son. We have called, emailed, my son has gone to the office several times and no response, except the owner has pretty much been on vacation all summer. The one response we did receive, it was damages to the unit my son had left 5 months ago. I asked how can you make him responsible for damages "your stating" happened over 5 months ago, that he hadn't lived in. They state they have photos, I asked, where are they, when we're they taken and how do we know it's his unit?
My husband and I own a small contracting company, bought & sold real estate for profits as well . Stay AwAY! Too many other places to rent from.

Very slow to respond to any issues or maintenance. Unforgiving when they feel you are at fault for any issues. They threatened to fine us for issues that we reported! Definitely seems like they're only in it to take our money.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Rented at the Edge Water apartments and had nothing but issues! They are constantly coming into the apartments along with constantly doing construction. ALL THE TIME. It is never peaceful there, no privacy. Rent to the scummiest people. Drug users stay there. No security in the building. Keeps your security for the smallest things. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

Do not,I repeat, NOT use Patty Davis. She is a swindler. Do not ever ever ever expect to see any part of your hard earned security deposit back after moving out of one of her properties. She will keep it all and redecorate the rental. I learned the hard way. Guaranteed headaches when dealing with this very unprofessional company! A BIG ZERO STAR RATING!!!!

Horrible landlord. She won't fix anything and then keeps your security deposit to remodel the units after the tenants leave. Beware using this agency.

She is a horrible landlord who doesn't fix anything, and after talking with other former tenants they have a track record of keeping your security deposit and using it to fix what they wouldn't while you lived there. Avoid this landlord and go with someone else. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. She also sold us the apartment with sewer included and then changed the lease a year after we lived there.

I was very happy to have worked with Berkshire Hathaway Services. She did a good job helping us out and guiding us in the right direction.
