For what is supposed to be a special occasion for the most special day of your life, I couldn't believe the way I was treated at David's. The store was completely empty when I went and I had made an appointment. I was told I had 90 minutes to try on dresses. I brought my list of favorites along with a picture of the dress I was trying to beat to give the saleswoman an idea of what I wanted. They only had 3 of the dresses I brought, which was fine, but the woman just kind of awkwardly looked at me and didn't help at all. I didn't love the ones I had tried on, and wanted some help (The other places I tried on dresses you told them what you wanted and they found things for you). I didn't know what was in the store. Luckily, I had a friend with me who knew what she was doing and asked the woman for a catalog. She brought a couple of the dresses and by the end there were two I liked, but still didn't love. She went and got her manager who yelled at me for trying on 6 dresses and said normally in an appointment they only allow 4. They had never said anything aside from that I had a 90 minute appointment. The saleswoman literally said outloud to the manager, "thank you." I will be spending more on another dress solely so I don't give my money to this place.
