David Cook Fine Art showcases American regional art from the late 19th through the mid 20th century. The gallery specializes in Rocky Mountain and early Colorado art including artists affiliated with the Broadmoor Art Academy in Colorado Springs and the Chappell House (forerunner to the Denver Art Museum). The gallery also focuses on New Mexico art including the Santa Fe and Taos schools; California plein-air and impressionism; and other early western American subject matter including Arizona and Utah related material. The style of material is largely modernist, plein-air, impressionist, and abstract.
The gallery's holdings include a wide selection of paintings and watercolors by distinguished artists including Birger Sandzen and Charles Partridge Adams as well as various WPA era and early Colorado prints.
David Cook Fine American Art specializes in historic Native American (American Indian) art and artifacts. Offering a wide selection of objects from many North American tribes with a focus on Plains beadwork, Navajo Blankets, Pueblo pottery, Southwestern baskets and Northwest Coast material.
David Cook has been dealing in fine American Indian art and American paintings for thirty years. As a member of the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) as well as the Antique Tribal Art Dealer's Association (ATADA) the gallery is held to a high standard of quality and ethics.
The staff has over fifty years of combined experience in buying, selling, and appraising fine art.

We are seeking material for both galleries and will pay the highest price for quality works. Offering sales on a consignment basis as well as outright purchases for single items as well as entire collections.
