TO MUCH MONEY AND TIME

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DAVES FOR A LONG TIME AND EVERY TIME I GO THE PRICE IS HIGHER THEN IT SHOULD BE THE PRICE OF PARTS ARE 3 TIMES THEN THEY SHOULD BE AND AFTER EACH JOB I HAVE TO EATHER BRING IT BACK TO HIM TO FIX IT AGAIN OR SOMETHING ELSE BREAKS ON MY CAR RELATED TO WHAT THEY JUST FIXED OR SOMETHING NEW I HAVE PAYED DAVE OVER $8,000 BUCKS OVER THE YEARS ON MY CAR AND IT STILL HAS PROBLEMS I'M JUST GETTING SCAMMED I'M DONE WHEN THEY DO A JOB AND IT BREAKS SOMETHING THAT IS ATTACHED THEY SAY IT IS NOT THERE FAULT IT JUST BROKE I GOT CHARGED $485.00 BUCKS FOR AN ALTERNATOR AND BELTS AND I HAD TO BRING IT BACK FOUR MORE TIME BECAUSE IT KEPT BREAKING OVER AND OVER I'M DONE DONE DONE GO TO YOUR DEALERSHIP THAT CAR IS FROM OR THAT CAR TYPE LIKE IF YOU HAVE A HONDA GO TO HONDA THAT IS WHAT I'M GOING TO DO FOR NOW ON I BET YOUI THE PRICE WILL BE THE SAME OR LOWER BUT THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING ON YOUR TYPE OF CAR THESE GUYS ARE STUPID AND FULL OF [ S ] [ H ] [ I ] [ T ] SAVE YOUR MONEY SAVE YOUR SELF FROM LOSING YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My regular mechanic doen't align front ends and recommended Dave's. A few other minor problems needed attention, so I thought I'd bundle them into one service call. Dave's tried to escalate a $58 job into $930, i.e. citing "problems" my regular mechanic never noticed and quadrupling the cost of a part. The most expensive repair "miraculously" corrected itself after I called my guy for a second opinion; his advice was it was unnecessary). I requested the computer read-out for the diagnostic Dave's ran (and I paid for) to pass along to my guy, but Mike the Mechanic had "forgotten" to print it out (What a surprise!)I hope my regular mechanic, who is ethcial, never refers another customer to Dave's; and passes along my experience with professional "watch dogs".

i must agree with other comment, dave used to care but now gives you a cheap price just to get you in then marks it up for whatever reason he can!! and once called out on it he has a slew of reasons in the holster till he beats you down...

I took my vehicle to Dave's for a Basic maintenance service. After I was quoted a price to do the job, Dave called and told me it needed parts that would be 160.00 more then original quote. I questioned him because I had already had the parts done That he claimed was need. He said he would call me back. Then his mechanic called and said it did not need any parts, but for him to do the service it would be 150.00 more in labor. I talk to Dave and and he agreed to do the service for 1/3 more than what he quoted. After picking up my vehicle he changed his story 3 times why he did not do what was agreed to be done (Still charging the full 1/3 more price). Needles to say I have to take my vehicle some were else to get the service done. The price I was first quoted is the standard charge for the maintenance service that should have been done.

We have been using Dave's Automotive for years now. I never have to worry about the service or experience, each visit has been smooth and a fair price. The customer service is OUTSTANDING.I highly recommend them!
