I am extremely pleased with the way Cookie was treated, his grooming and I think he liked the idea of not being in a kennel!!! He looked so good and was quite proud of his bandana. The girls were very polite and pleasant and I will definitely be back!

D'tails took great care with my senior Great Pyrenees Muffin, she is 13 and has difficulty standing long periods. I talked to Tracy before her appointment and they did a wonderful job, groomed her first and then called me when she was done. They brushed her out while she was lying down. I was very happy with the service and care she received. She loves to go to D'tails.

Best around My little boys love Tracy Waylon and Willie don't go no where else . They all ways wagging there tail when we go in.

This review is for their grooming services. I can't speak to their daycare. I was so happy with my first experience at D'Tails. I arrived early as I had to get to school by 9 and was worried about making it on time. They let me right in and said they didn't mind taking dogs early as long as they were there. They were so nice when I told them what I wanted with my dog's grooming job. They communicated with me throughout the day so that I was aware of pick up timing. When I arrived to get him, he was in the front office area chilling out, rather than being in a kennel. They did a perfect job and followed my instructions to the tee. Best grooming he's ever received in Augusta. And... the price was right! Very reasonable for a large dog with a thick coat. My only suggestion for improvement is maybe more frequent potty breaks? My pup immediately stopped to relieve himself when we left and it seemed like he'd been holding it for awhile. But, great job! I'll be back :)

HIGHLY recommend this place! This was my baby, Ginger's first time going to D'tails! When I came to get her, she didn't even want to leave lol. The fact that she had a great time, made friends, and looks STUNNING, makes this person here a happy mommy I shall be back to have Ginger visit and bring my new puppy!

This was my first time bringing our little Madi here and Tracey did a great job! I think Madi would have been happy to stay all day if we didn't pick her up. I like that they get to socialize with other dogs before and after they get groomed. That's something you don't see with other groomers. She still smells so good days after!

A day spa for dogs!!!! First time at recommended D'tails pet grooming. I love the socialization opportunity for Rudy. His coat was beautifully brushed and his nails done right and seem relaxed. Prices are very reasonable so that you can tip the groomers. Definitely coming back and recommending to other pet owners.

I have been bring my dogs here for over 20 years! Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a team that pays attention to "d'tails"! :))

Absolute best grooming and kennel in Augusta. Couldn't ask for a better place to take my pups. They love going here. I have NEVER seen them be rude or unkind to any two or four legged creature. I have two large dogs and they are always happy going and coming home!!!! Keep up the great work guys!!

Rocky went Thursday and they did an awesome job. I have been to several different groomers & have not been satisfied. I was referred & I will definitely go back.

I have taken my two Shih Tzus there for about 8 or 9 years and been very pleased. I would highly recommend them to others.

Minion got pampered and was able to spend the day with other babies. She looks wonderful and came home happy. Thank you to the staff

After a year of my sweet yorkie had been going to them for boarding and grooming, my husband dropped off our baby for a week. We get a call on our last day of vacation saying that our pup had been in a small fight with another dog. My dog was fine and was taken to the vet just to be cked out. I call the vet and they actually asked if my dog was the one dropped at the front door with no note, no one telling them the dog was there. My dog had been EATEN by another dog! My pup had a hole in his heart and his stomach had been opened wide up. He died shortly after he was dropped off like trash. PLEASE, do not take your dog here. I called the cops and they told me that dogs are property. that i could only do anything by suing. I called the pound and they went out to look into the situation. the only thing they could do was ck to see if all dogs were up on their vaccinations since it was not a "Dog Fight"

Had an appointment. They were short on groomers. Called me to pick up my kids. No groom. No discount for next time. Incompetence. Horrible. Worst groomer ever!

This is my groomer of choice. I like that my dog is not in a cage all day and she likes it, too! She is always happy to arrive and she always leaves looking great.

We have only used D'Tails for boarding-not grooming-and just had a terrible experience over spring break! One of our 3 dogs had an inch of her ear BITTEN OFF while staying at the kennel. We WERE called, but were also led to believe that it was a much less serious injury. Not only did they NOT take her to a vet, but they treated it themselves with ointment and it was still bleeding and infected when we picked her up 3 days after it happened. There were no apologies, no follow-up, no discount...after sharing our story we have discovered MANY others have had the same experience...if you love your pets like you love your children, they WON'T get that kind of care at D'Tails. Besides the injury, one of our other dogs was not fed following the guidelines we had provided--food brought home unopened.

Our dog Jake is a very energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. The bread is traditionally a hunting dog, but he acts like a racing dog. Jake lives with women and doesn't do any official hunting at all, except with yard birds & bugs. Everytime we pick him up from a stay or play date at D'tails, he is just WORN OUT, he's played so hard. Everybody there knows him and he's just so excited to get there each time -- he busts in through the gate. After he says a quick hello to the staff, he's out to the yard.

This review is not true only because the owner wrote her own review. DPine is Jana Pine and she wrote this review. There was no customer who wrote this review and said her pet got hurt at a local pet store. What a lie and it is terrible business practice to bash other companies especially when it is not true. She better be very careful or I will share a little tibit of info I know about how pets get hurt there because they run around all day unwatched and unprotected. Jana, keep to the facts. You have a good business so you have no need to bash others. Watch it cause we are watching you.
