Owner is overtly racist and its an unpleasant place.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE RACIST AND HAVE A SIGN OUTSIDE THEIR DOOR THAT SAYS IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, YOU HAVE TO PAY $10. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! And to the ignorant person who thinks this is freedom of speech, let me ask you something, what about Treating everyone equally??!! I came to this country and had to learn myself and as a Latina and minority AND an immigrant college graduate, this should NOT be tolerated. Everyone is a human being and therefore should be treated the same with kindness and compassion. Everyone’s story is different you have no idea what other people go thru. No one should be charged extra because of a “language barrier”. Stop being ignorant.

For all of those complaining about the sign he has outside let me remind you “Freedom of speech” I’m Hispanic, I came here without speaking a word of English but I LIVE IN AMERICA English is the language. Stop getting offended, people need to learn the language period. He doesn’t overcharge, that sign simply means try. Get over yourselves. Time of unity you say, yet you’re trying to get someone out of business, who prob is already feeling the effect of sales going down to covid. Be kind people, this old man isn’t hurting anyone.

Surely you can find a non-racist sharpening service. I'd like to ask this guy how many generations do you have to go back in his family to find a non-English speaker (btw, for Trump, it's his grandfather). Boycott!

Unfortunately, Cutters Edge is not a place I would recommend to friends or family. I had the idea to support a local business and send my Damascus Steel knife collection to Cutters Edge. This ended up being a huge mistake as my Arabian knives are ruined. In addition, there was a random $10 few that appeared and on top of that the customer service wasn’t very welcoming.

In a time of unity this business is racist and overcharges people of color. They should not be allowed to be operating in clifton. a city with diverse languages and amazing people

I am very happy with this guy, he did very professional and precise sharpening on a few blades that I had, removed spots and added some general polishing and luster. The price was very modest, less than I expected. Will definitely come back when needed.
